You don't clean up pee with the shovel, only the poop. The space doesn't fill up with sand, it doesn't smell, and it's a huge package, but very light! Nice change, the cat went right away! I'm not going back to bentonite.

It is very good if your cat doesn't want it, to use it as a base. It has a strange texture for our cat's paws and he was working on it for a while. On top, I added bentonite of the same brand and noticed that the urine becomes a solid little stone and doesn't stick to the bottom like with bentonite. It's good for mixing. It worked well for me and since then I buy both silica and bentonite.

This one (and I have tried many) saved us. We have two large adult cats, a small living room, and in the winter we keep the litter box inside. It doesn't smell. If you clean it regularly from the feces, even better. The urine is absorbed by the litter, and the dirty litter, which is heavier, gathers at the bottom while the clean litter stays on top. With the scoop, it is easily collected, if it's not time for a complete change and cleaning.

My cats are 12 years old, I have never used a worse product. The fact that it produces a lot of dust is the least of it. The urine doesn't form any clumps so you can't remove it, the crystals just turn yellow there. I have put it in 2 litter boxes that I clean daily and it's only been 3 days and the whole house stinks!! All these years I've been using other brands and pellets, I have never encountered anything this bad!

Perhaps one of the worst crystal sands. The smell is nonexistent and it creates terrible dust when you clean it. My cat did not prefer it. Better to spend your money on another brand.

Great for solid waste but my cat has started urinating a lot and the crystals don't hold liquid so well.

I can confidently say that not only is it worth it, but if you think about how practical it is and that it doesn't make your house smell (if you have the litter box inside), it is worth it and beneficial! It lasts much longer and traps all the odors. I clean it every other day and not every day, and it is super complete. And to preempt the well-meaning, I have an adult kitten and her litter box is quite large.

I was not satisfied at all! It has a lot of dust and is not absorbent at all. There are crystalline ones that are more economical and of better quality.

A relatively good crystal litter. When filling the litter box or topping it off, it produces noticeably more dust than other crystal litters. It has a slight issue with absorbency and does not hold moisture.

I have been using this litter for 2 years, I occasionally tried other types, but I returned to Perfect Care Silica again. I have three little cats and their containers are in a large closed balcony. The 20 liters are enough for about 20 days.

I got the sand because one of my cats has asthma, as far as dust is concerned it definitely has much less than the classic sand. It is the first crystal one I tried so I didn't know what to expect, but overall it's okay. It took my cats a while to get used to it and it's still not their favorite but it is what it is. Not much sand comes out of the box so that's good, but when it does, because it's transparent and large, it hurts a little when you step on it lol and it turns into dust. It lasted a long time, but after a while it has a very strong ammonia smell which is logical because you only collect the bad ones. I don't know if it will be my favorite.

I chose it because of the positive reviews, unfortunately it was below my expectations and definitely very expensive for what it offers. On the positive side, its durability and the fact that it does not clump from moisture and can be easily cleaned. On the negative side, definitely the scents, which it does not retain as effectively, at least compared to the Ever Clean Fast Acting Odour Control that I have been using so far (which I consider essential for those of us living in a small apartment) and its price. The scent literally does not exist, you have to go all the way into the sand and IF you manage to smell orange. It's not bad, but I think it's overrated in the reviews here.

It is very different in feel and weight. My cat is comfortable whenever he has no problem with the changes so he got used to it right away. It makes minimal dust when placed in the litter box and nothing else. It doesn't smell as much as I would expect so whichever one you get is the same. The package gives a duration of 20-30 days for one cat, which is true. For me, one package lasts about 20-25 days. You don't need to throw the feces in a bag but in the toilet since it is biodegradable. You simply mix the urine and when it starts to change color completely, I throw it in a bag and put a new batch.

Although I didn't know how it works at first, it's definitely worth the money. If you don't have sifting, it's a one-way street.

Why didn't I discover it earlier? I read the reviews here and decided to try it. I have two cats and while their litter box is usually outside, when it rains I put it inside. It doesn't smell at all! A lifesaver. A bit expensive, but worth its money because I don't have to complain about odors :)

For two cats, I need 2 of these packages for about 1 month. In that month, they do their job just fine.
