The biopolitical disciplining of the preventive state, the proliferation of surveillance technologies, the deregulation of employment conditions, the technocratic turn of post-democracy, the weakening of the welfare state, the rise of right-wing populism, and the iconic world of online manipulation were already present.

With the pandemic, the face of the new Leviathan is revealed, shifting from invisible to visible.
