Description

Of course, art is one, without divisions and intentions. Essentially, the mysterious mechanism that comes into operation for the creation of a work of art is independent of the will and logic of the artist and almost exclusively dependent on his emotional reactions to the stimuli generally provided by his environment. Picasso himself says: "My work takes me wherever it wants." What is usually understood by the public is the external similarity to the object, or what we would call in relation to cinema and literature "visual representation of the text" and which is often the lesser virtue of the work of art and often completely misleading. Bach, Goya, even Parthenis, Skalkotas are the most suitable artists for the people and those who still have genuine and true work. And this work reaches the people in many ways. High economic level, for example, is a decisive factor. It is certain that peoples with a high standard of living have the luxury of being close to art and becoming more familiar with its problems than those whose anxious struggle for survival deprives them of this ability - the hungry person thinks of nothing else but his hunger, as Brecht would say.
