Vitex Red Oxide Primer is a solvent-based anti-corrosion primer formulated with alkyd resins and anti-corrosive pigments. It is intended for metal surfaces and helps protect them from oxidation. It is available in an orange shade and contains no lead.
Before application, the surface must be dry, smooth, and free of dust and oil. Stir well and apply one or two coats using a roller, brush, or airless spray gun. Use Brush Thinner T 300 or Spray Gun Thinner T 350 for thinning, depending on the application tool. Dries to the touch in 45–60 minutes and can be recoated after 20–24 hours.
