Vitex semi-transparent primer is water-based and 100% acrylic, with excellent adhesion to masonry. It reduces surface absorbency and acts as a primer for water-based emulsion, acrylic and cement paints, as well as textured paints. It is also suitable for alkaline surfaces, which it penetrates and stabilizes. It contains no ammonia and is practically odorless during application.
Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces, it is applied in one coat using a roller, brush or airless spray gun. Dilute with water by 300–400%. Touch-dry in 15–30 minutes; recoat after 4–6 hours with Vitex emulsion or acrylic paints. Drying times vary depending on temperature and relative humidity. Clean tools immediately after use with water and, if needed, soap or detergent.
