Apollo is the god of harmony and, undeniably, the best musician. However, down on earth, a mortal boasts that there is no greater musician than him. He is Marsyas, a famous reed player, living on the shores of Asia Minor.
Completely unexpectedly, he acquires the flute of the goddess Athena. Now he believes that his musical art has a divine power. He thinks he can compete with Apollo himself.
His arrogance will provoke the first musical contest. This is not a simple contest. It is also a confrontation between two musical instruments, the flute and the lyre. It is the clash of two worlds. Who will be the winner? Who will be the loser?
