For simple data storage, excellent and trouble-free, now in its 2nd year of operation. However, from €50 to €110 within a year, because of the idiots who want AI even on their toast... enough already!

The hard drive is made in China, it freezes quite a bit. I had also bought 2 very cheap Patriots (128) which are much faster and don't freeze at all. I don't understand the satisfaction of some people, they probably have no knowledge of other products. So don't be fooled by the Japanese brand, it's not like their USB which is made in Japan. Once again, the saying that expensive is not always the best has been confirmed.

I got 2 to transfer photos and videos from older phones as well as to have a backup between them.
I use a dock and it is important for many friends who want to use them as external storage to know that they will need to initialize them like with all new drives.

Very fast for SATA III. Comparable to Samsung and would get 5 stars if its software was on par with Samsung Magician.

Very good. The data transfer (along with the operating system and applications) from the previous one (which had a smaller capacity) was done easily and it works perfectly!

I haven't had it for very long, but during this time it hasn't presented me with any problems and its speed is as stated.

My initial impressions of Kioxia products are generally very positive, and I have the same impressions for this SSD. The only thing I can't comment on yet is the "longevity" of the products; this will be determined over time. (fingers crossed!!)

Very good price! It is 894 GB usable and not 960 GB as the listing says. Maximum speed you will see around 300. In unzipping large files like the virtuared patch for pes21 that I tried, after a while it will bottleneck and the speed will be limited to 100. When loading games from this, the same behavior as with any other drive. I am satisfied.

Good product and made in Japan. At least that's what is written on its box. Now, if this Japan is not Japan but a small town somewhere in China, we will understand it over time.

Quite a good disc so far and relatively cheap. The best part is that it is made in Japan. It's been years since we saw something like this.

Fast for storage but the plastics are of poor quality. In a hurry, I almost broke the plastic support on the SATA connector. It made a crack and now I handle it gently. So be careful with it and you'll be fine. It's not suitable for an operating system. It will have freezes randomly.

The SSD is excellent in performance in both writing and reading, and it maintains very low temperatures. On the negative side, the first drawback is that it only has 9 specific features, and the second is that my computer didn't recognize it immediately, and I couldn't do a quick format from Windows. I had to do a regular format and install Windows in order to get it working properly

It is installed on a desktop i5-9500F and so far it works perfectly.
I still don't see a reason to buy something more expensive.
It's flawless for the 1 month I have it installed.

With the reliability of Toshiba and the "marriage" of OCZ in technology, I believe it is a one-way street and definitely value for money. Let's not forget that it is built with 3D-NAND BiCS FLASH™ technology, which features a vertical cell structure, for a cutting-edge storage experience. So far, I have 3 480s and one 960. Completely satisfied with the numbers and performance, of course, at dirt-cheap prices! If they had DRAM, it would be the ultimate purchase! Over time, I will come back with an update...

I replaced it with another smaller SSD disk for using the computer in video editing. Since then, the computer started freezing and the situation is getting worse. I will have to buy another SSD now and use this one as a second one so it doesn't go to waste..

2 of the 480gb were purchased at 39.90 each.

Positives: Satisfactory nominal speed, same reading speed. Low price. It is a former Toshiba, so it is expected to be reliable, I will come back in the long run. One was cloned with Acronis for WD, the other with Aomei.

Negatives: It does not provide cloning software, it did not work with macrium or easeus (possibly not the disk's fault, but it troubled me). Although compared to other SSDs without dram cache it has a somewhat more three-dimensional structure, it does not seem to excel in combined tasks.

It achieved a significant upgrade for old computers and is recommended for this or as additional storage space. For a more capable computer, an SSD with dram cache is a better choice.

I put 4 stars because it is a little bigger and it doesn't fit in the special compartment of the box, so I had to put it loose in the PC.

Very good and fast disk for its price. The only problem was that its metal frame is 1-2 millimeters larger and does not fit into the tower chassis. I had to tie it with straps on the sides so it wouldn't show.
