Description

The narratives of this book form a diptych with a predominant theme of love that initiates one into the secrets of life, which, in the form of a beautiful woman, can either flood the challenging path to maturity and self-awareness with divine light or plunge it into gloomy darkness.

In Young Loves, Esses narrates in the first person, perhaps because the memories, thoughts, and emotions of the main character are also his own experiences; experiences that played a decisive role in his emotional upbringing.

In the two narratives of Young Loves, the young hero, after his traumatic experiences in the outside world, emerges into his own inner world to realize that the only escape to salvation is the return to his roots, to the birthplace, to the land of first innocence... Or perhaps, refuge in some other - hidden - realms, beyond the limits of human reason: in the transcendent space of metaphysics.
