Vitex Acrylan Max is a matte acrylic paint for exterior use, featuring triple-hybrid Silica - Acrylic - Silicone nanotechnology. It can be applied to new and old plaster, concrete and brick surfaces, as well as surfaces previously painted with silicate or silicone paints, and to ETICS systems, with suitable preparation. Its inorganic base helps painted surfaces dry quickly after getting wet and allows them to breathe, while limiting the buildup of inorganic, organic and biological contaminants, such as fungi and algae.
The paint has been certified as a cool paint by the Department of Physics at the University of Athens. It features high solar reflectance (SR), emissivity (ε) and solar reflectance index (SRI). Apply with a roller, brush or airless spray gun in two coats, thinning with up to 10% water. Coverage is 15–17 m²/L per coat on a suitably prepared surface.
