Kraft Rust Blocker black primer is applied to metal surfaces, such as railings, agricultural machinery and vehicle bodies, and protects against rust. It is an alkyd solvent-based primer with a matt finish that creates a uniform surface for applying the topcoat.
It is ready to use and can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun. Before application, the surface must be dry, sound and free of dust, residue and loose paint. Surface drying time is 1–2 hours at 25 °C and 50% relative humidity, while the minimum recoating time is 24 hours. Apply at temperatures from 5 °C to 35 °C and relative humidity up to 65%.
