After many Patriot purchases (ssd & ram) I am still impressed by the performance and reliability at these prices.

after 2 years (used as backup for photos), it can't write anything... disk health 78%.. unacceptable. Not to mention that many times the PC doesn't read it..

Simply terrible, I bought 2 disks, 128GB and 1TB, and both broke in less than six months without any warning.

Some SSDs are like playing the lottery. If you get lucky... you get lucky. Time will tell how it turns out. Anyway, so far it reaches the speeds it should.

I have tried SSDs and SSDs, from the cheapest consumer grade on a Raspberry Pi with USB, mid-range on ZFS, and refurbished enterprise.

The first SSD just died and never worked again. Unacceptable from Patriot. Better to get KIOXIA.

At first, it was one of the best for the money. After some newer revisions, the controller started leaving us with times unexpectedly..

Purchased for around 80 something euros. 6-7 months ago. The use is simply for storage. For general use, it's okay. Just anyone who wants to transfer large files should keep in mind that the drive "chokes after 2-3 minutes of continuous transfer. While it transfers at 350 - 450 mb/s, it drops to 45-50.

Exactly the same problem as another user who left a review! I started to have BSOD, freezes, and crashes, and I was looking to see what was causing it! Looking at the Task Manager, 100% disk usage! Without doing anything! I deleted everything inside because it wouldn't let me format, it told me it was being used by another program or I didn't have permissions!!! (I found and changed the permissions on 2 folders that were owned by TrustedInstaller). What I noticed, however, is that: If you exceed 50% of the capacity, the write speed drops drastically! What do I mean? Below are images!

I wish they would release some update to fix this mess!!! Now you ask me if I recommend it? Of course not! Imagine having a 1gb line, wanting to download games, and getting "bottlenecked" by your hard drive because it doesn't have the speed for writing!!! TRAGIC

Well, as soon as I received it, I put it in my main system to do the measurements it promises! Then I put it in an old laptop and installed Windows 8.1 on it, and it runs perfectly, opening Windows in about 15-17 seconds and running generally smoother than when it had an HDD! The temperatures are normal and it is 100% healthy! As for durability, time will tell! VFM (Value For Money) product!!!! I highly recommend it!! I will come back in the future for any changes

I searched a lot because I wanted a budget PC around 900€ and I didn't want to exceed that amount. I found this hard drive, I don't think there is anything better for the money. Then you can go for an M.2 which is much faster for about 10€ more. I bought a SATA III and an M.2 and I am satisfied with both. I would recommend removing the sticker for a cleaner look.

Quite a good SSD somewhere around 500MB/s but not the best on the market... it's better to go for Samsung... I have the 1TB version

I bought it for 20 euros for my laptop (big mistake). I installed my operating system three times and it kept crashing my files. I returned it and they told me it had 92% health and refused to replace it until the next day when it finally died... (I won't mention the store) and the second one they gave me had even worse speeds than an HDD in random read/write, especially when doing updates. I didn't have any problems with other Patriot series, but this particular model is garbage. EDIT: 10 months later, the replacement they gave me is still alive but I don't use it because of its poor speed in mixed IO. It hasn't even reached 200GB, it's just sitting unused on the side.

I use it as a USB SSD for retropie image on a raspberry pi 4 in a usb3 enclosure. The biggest problem is the unstable speed in reading and writing. It starts at 200MB/s and drops below 50MB/s after about ten minutes. Compared to Kingston, it seems to have inferior implementation. I wouldn't buy it for use with my computer's operating system and critical data.
Update (02-05-2023): As the disk approaches its capacity limits, it experiences significant delays or completely freezes, especially when transferring large files > 200MB. It doesn't inspire confidence at all.

I bought it today, the speeds seem to be amazing, the only flaw I noticed is the temperatures. I have a kiston, and it has better temperatures as you can see in the picture...

I put it on an iMac mid 2011 and I had many problems! The computer became slower than my mom's, which wasn't an SSD. I thought the computer had given up as time went by, it was getting worse and worse, and I was ready to buy another iMac but 2000 euros is a lot of money, so I decided to get another hard drive in case that was the problem. And indeed, I installed a Samsung 870 EVO and the difference was huge. The computer opened instantly and the applications and everything! Stay away from that drive, give something more and get something else!

Perhaps the most useless thing that exists in an SSD.

I have had it for exactly 2 years on an I5-750 P7H55 CHIPSET with AHCI MODE, it has written "TBW" 18TB and still works perfectly on a WIN 7 64BIT MUSIC WORKSTATION! 27 SEC BOOTING TIME and it opens CHROME with 30% free space. Temperature ranges from 43 MAX to 19 IDLE. Unfortunately, it is a SATA II system, so it usually reaches 270MB/S READ and 250MB/S WRITE out of the 300MB/S of SATA II. It requires some searching to activate TRIM. Honest for its price.

In a desperate attempt to save my 12-year-old HP laptop (intel core2duo/4 gb RAM), my technician installed this specific SSD as an economical solution. It feels like I bought a new computer. So far, it doesn't freeze during home use, boots up quickly, and I am satisfied with the small amount of money I spent. I will come back for reliability and long-term performance.

2. Two years of use update:
It still works perfectly for home use, such as browsing, streaming services, and Office applications. I don't play games or run heavy programs on this computer, so I can't provide an opinion on that aspect. However, it has been a good solution to avoid throwing it away and have it for simple tasks.

He is excellent for the money.
On sata 3, it provides pretty good VFM speeds at 30€!!!
It breathed life into my 10-year-old laptop.

I didn't expect it to be so bad.
I installed Linux & Windows operating systems and I thought it would fly on an old PC.
I had to remove it to install 90GB of games to save on downloading.
The write speed ranged from 10 to 200 MB/s on all (87) 1GB files.
I might be the unlucky one, but now that it happened to me, I sat down and read the 1-3 star reviews that exist.
