very good headphones BUT a very big but. The ear and head cushions flake and crumble like bran, and this happened within a year with daily use of 3-4 hours for about 6 months and then stored in their case. Communication with the company was unproductive with the justification that this is something normal. Now, if you are going to spend 150 euros to get this quality, I consider it a rip-off.

The ATH-M50x remains the king of monitors for a reason. The sound signature is incredibly balanced with a slight, punchy emphasis on the low end that doesn't muddy the mids. 60% for DJ use oriented.

I have had them for 3 years and they haven't suffered any damage. The only negatives are that after a long time of use they press on the head and in the summer with these leather cushions you sweat badly, even if you wear them for a little while.

Extremely good headphones for their price, with the disadvantage that the ear cushions and headband wear out quite a bit over time and need replacement/covering. They haven't had any other issues after about 4 years of use.

The sound is very good, the ear pads are easily replaceable if they break. I used to have the Koss Pro4x, they were very good but the ear pads wore out. The same goes for the Koss Porta Pro, you have to get them fixed by the authorized service, good luck finding it though, even though they are still being produced and you can easily find compatible replacement ear pads. The model has been around for years and the whole series uses the same ones.

The headphones are simply wonderful. The sound is flat, as it should be, they are compact and fit everywhere, the color is the best and did not fade the 2-3 times they fell. They are worth every penny, 10000000%.

Extremely good headphones. I bought them to replace my JBL LSR 305 monitors that I use for both music listening and music/guitar software when circumstances don't allow for proper volume, and I am fully satisfied. Easy adjustment and comfortable fit without causing fatigue. Highly recommended for their price!

    Let's take it in turns!!

These are my first OverEar headphones!!

I got them because I'm a cool guy and I wanted a design on my headphones!! I'm not just some random person!!

Also, I will be involved in voice recording so I wanted studio headphones!!!

Lightweight... They don't tire the ear... You can wear them all day due to comfort and weight!!!

The cushions come off and on very easily!!!
(Not important but someone might be interested)

The SOUND... HMMM I was expecting something louder!!! I played enough music but... I had a complaint!!!

Guys, sound, image, and taste are a matter of preference!!!
    Everyone will hear differently...

I will update as soon as I wear them for more hours!!!

Guys, be very careful when buying a good sound card. If the computer's voice is not loud enough up to 25% for the past two years, I thought it was the worst purchase I've made. However, yesterday, trying a Sound Blaster sound card for 30 euros, the sound skyrocketed. Mobiles don't work well due to a bad sound card. That's it, guys

I have had them for four years and I use them through an external DAC and internally.

    The positives:
    - Quite good midrange
    - Comfortable (I have a large head)
    - Lightweight
    - 3 different cables
    - Ear pads can be changed

    The negatives:
    - Poor bass (light and hard together)
    - Quite strong highs
    - Very poor quality ear pads and headband fabric/material

For 150€, they are not worth it. If they were priced below 90€, then yes, they would be worth it. The hype around them was created because big-name YouTubers made them trendy.
The M40x headphones are better! There are better options available for the same price

This review is about the colour: Black

I have them for 7 years. From the sound, the best I have heard on headphones, even strangers on the street have commented that I have the m50x.

The material they use for the cushions and headband will start peeling after one or two years (probably because I left them in the sun), so I bought leather cushions.

For the headband, I went to a tailor who sewed an elastic material onto the headband, turned it inside out so that the seams are not visible at all, and the edges went under some caps that the headband has on the right and left. It looks even nicer than the factory one now. (They peel off without any issue and close perfectly again because the material was thin enough and fit well.)

The best value for money headphones!

    Pros
    -----
    * It comes with three cables (one for short distance, one slightly longer, and one coiled).
    * Incredible sound quality. If you have a good sound card, the listening experience goes to another level. You put the music on and you have "traveled".
    * Incredible build quality. It folds in any way you can imagine. Very flexible and lightweight.
    * Very comfortable even after extended use.
    * Premium feel (leather pouch provided and the cables have nice coating).

    Cons
    -----
    * Due to its flexibility, I have found myself trying to fold it in a way that the construction does not allow. If you encounter resistance when trying to fold the headphones, do not apply force.

We still have to see its durability over time! :)

Absolutely satisfied with the quality. Volume?? Endless..
I drive them with an external USB sound card but also without a card, on a phone, tablet, etc. the volume is more than satisfactory. Personally, I don't find them uncomfortable at all after prolonged use

Honestly, I didn't expect it when I heard it at a friend's house, and of course, I made the purchase without thinking immediately the next day. It is the best quality I have heard so far for this price, mainly because of the plastic but durable casing. However, the issue is that the highly advanced drivers they use for the sound easily compete with headphones that cost 300-500 euros, which I happened to have heard, and in many cases, they surpass them. Very good clean bass that doesn't tire and clear highs, mids, and lows. It is definitely worth the purchase instead of getting something cheap or more expensive and wasting your money. Tested on a DJ console, Samsung SG5neo smartphone, and a PC with the sound card Sound BlasterX AE-5. Truly an impeccable choice that you won't regret.

Their sound is simply the best for the money.
I have only heard better and fuller sound in headphones over EUR300.
They are highly recommended for anyone who wants headphones with incredibly high-quality sound at this price.
Two "drawbacks" I could say are their "beauty" compared to SONY, Beats, etc., and that they are wired.
WARNING: They require good driving to perform. You will cry if you use them with a cheap phone/tablet.

If you have generally searched for studio monitor headphones around 100 euros, there are 2 options. For me, they are excellent and I don't think they need an upgrade for a long time!

    AMAZ-ING!!!!
Absolutely satisfied with the quality. Volume?? Endless..
I drive them with an external USB sound card but also without a card, on a phone, tablet, etc. the volume is more than satisfactory. Personally, I don't find them uncomfortable at all after prolonged use

Very good sound quality. Balanced sound and satisfactory bass for monitoring headphones. Although they have low impedance, you won't enjoy them with a mobile device. You definitely need a more powerful source to fully appreciate their performance. Great value for money.

  • very good headphones BUT a very big but.

  • The ATH-M50x remains the king of monitors for a reason. The sound signature is incredibly balanced with a slight, punchy emphasis on the low end that doesn't muddy the mids. 60% for DJ use oriented.
