My experience with these specific gaiters was very bad. I bought 2 pairs, one for myself and one for a friend. In both pairs, the wire or strap that goes under the boot and holds the gaiter in place broke. In my pair, the wire came off as soon as I put them on for the first time and tried to tighten the strap. In my friend's pair, the fabric strap came off from the joint on the first day after 3 hours of hiking in the snow. It's the worst thing to be betrayed by mountaineering equipment when you're in the mountains with 2 meters of snow. The fabric quality seems okay, but the joints, straps, etc. are unacceptable. Never again.
Η εμπειρία μου από τις συγκεκριμένες γκαίτες ήταν πολύ κακή. Αγόρασα 2 ζευγάρια, ένα για εμένα και ένα για ένα φίλο. Και στις δύο έσπασε το σύρμα ή το λουράκι που περνάει κάτω από τη μπότα και κρατάει τη γκέτα στην θέση της. Στις δικές μου έφυγε το σύρμα από την ένωση με το που τις έβαλα πρώτη φορά και πήγα να σφίξω τα λουράκι. Στου φίλου έφυγε το υφασμάτινο λουράκι από την ένωση του τη πρώτη μέρα μετά από 3 ώρες ορειβασίας σε χιόνι. Είναι ότι χειρότερο να σε προδίδει ο ορειβατικός εξοπλισμός την ώρα που είσαι στο βουνό με 2 μέτρα χιόνι. Σαν ποιότητα υφάσματος φαίνεται οκ αλλά οι ενώσεις, τα λουριά κλπ έιναι απραράδεκτα. Ποτέ ξανά.

Αξίζουν τα λεφτά τους μέχρι το τελευταίο σεντ . Σε προστατεύουν από χαμηλά κλαδιά και από υγρασία κάνουν την δουλειά τους πολύ καλά!!!
I used them for hiking in the snow and the wire underneath broke. Besides that, the way you tighten them is not practical at all. They don't tighten easily and at the same time they come loose easily too.
Τις χρησιμοποίησα για πεζοπορία σε χιόνι εμένα έσπασε το συρματάκι από κάτω και εκτός αυτού ο τρόπος που τις σφίγγες δεν είναι καθόλου πρακτικός δεν σφίγγουν εύκολα και ταυτόχρονα λύνονται και εύκολα...
I used the gaiters for walking in about 50 to 60 cm of snow for approximately 5 hours. My shoes didn't get wet, so they did their job. However, the photo differs somewhat from the reality, at least in the gaiters that I received. The gaiters do have a wire rope, which is definitely a positive feature. They do not have the fastening at the top of the gaiter, and the fastening at the bottom of the gaiter is not with a clip but with a pin, which is not as practical when fastening them. Other than that, the gaiter is good and worth its money.
Χρησιμοποίησα Τις γκέτες για περπάτημα σε αρκετό χιόνι 50 με 60 cm για 5 h περίπου. Τα παπούτσια μου δε βράχηκαν οπότε επιτέλεσαν το έργο τους. Ωστόσο η φωτογραφία διαφέρει κάπως από την πραγματικότητα τουλάχιστον στις γκέλες που πήρα εγώ. Οι γκέτες όντως διαθέτουν συρματόσκοινο πραγμα το οποίο φυσικά είναι θετικό. Δε διαθέτουν το κούμπωμα στο πάνω μέρος της γκετας και το κούμπωμα στο κάτω μέρος της γκετας δεν είναι με κλιπ αλλά με κόπιτσα πράγμα το οποίο δεν είναι και τόσο πρακτικό όταν τις κουμπώνεις. Κατά τα άλλα η γκετα είναι καλή και αξίζει τα λεφτά της.
Testing the product on a 3-hour snow hike was very good. Perhaps the front tying end should be slightly larger or have an extension to provide more protection in case water enters the boot from the top side where the laces are.
Δοκιμή σε πεζοπορία σε χιόνι για 3 ώρες ήταν μια πολύ καλές. Ίσως το άκρο που δένει εμπρός στο μποτάκι να έπρεπε να είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερο ή να έχει σαν προέκταση για να προστατεύει περισσότερο σε περίπτωση που το μποτάκι βάζει νερό από την πάνω πλευρά στα κορδόνια.
