THEOLOGY AND ECUMENE is a scientific series for the publication, or re-publication, of studies and manuals for higher education focusing on the interpretation of the faith of the Orthodox Church as a dogmatic formulation and textual recording.
And this according to the patristic processing and synodal action, in accordance with contemporary interpretation and contribution of Orthodox Theology today, but also in relation to the historical course and continuity of the ecclesiastical community.
Additionally, the series will house studies related to the Christian Ecumenical movement, the dialogue of the Orthodox Church and Theology with Christians of other denominations, but also generally with the modern individual.
The series begins with the re-publication of the work of the blessed professor Nikolaos Ath. Matsoukas, from the Theological School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a work that represents the culmination of a creative path of theological processes in Thessaloniki with international impact.
The responsible of the series is Despoina Ath. Lialiu, Professor at A.U.Th.
