Greece of dreams invites us to read our collective mental life with reference to symbols and mindsets, as they emerge in dreams and are shaped by emotions.

As representations of desire and anxiety, dreams borrow forms from the surrounding atmosphere to weave them, through imagination, into their own stories and behaviors. Therefore, very often, we dream of reality instead of experiencing it tangibly.

Thus, the conditions for an overproduction of dreams and daydreaming are created, which the mechanisms of social inertia (as well as totalitarianisms) exploit intensively for their own benefit.

However, by unraveling the connective thread of dream forms and imagination, we can explain the long-term prevalence of inertia in a society like ours and simultaneously trace signs that lead to the clearing of change.
