Capabilities

The XTAR D26 1600S diving flashlight is equipped with high-quality OSRAM CSLPM1.TG LEDMax, allowing you to see the magnificent seabed with greater clarity. See more and with greater detail the marine world. With top brightness reaching up to 1600lm and four brightness levels, it will become your best companion for underwater activities. Explore caves, swim among wonderful sea creatures, and feel safe with the brightness of the XTAR D26 1600S. Additionally, it has a beam range of up to 538 meters, allowing you to see the vast ocean world from a great distance and bypass potential hazards.

Powerful Lighting

The flashlight can operate up to 86 hours at 60lm or two hours at 1600lm. Choose the Turbo, High, Mid, or Low mode to enjoy its brightness. It is compatible with 18650 batteries with an additional tube or 26650 for longer autonomy. To avoid potential malfunction or accidental use, lock your flashlight when not in use. The lock function is located on the power button; simply press and hold the button for 3 seconds to successfully lock it.

Safety & Comfort

The flashlight has all the necessary conditions and specifications for uninterrupted operation. The intelligent temperature control protects against possible overheating of the flashlight and ensures safe underwater operation for a long period of time. When the internal temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius, the flashlight automatically lowers the brightness until it reaches the correct operating temperature. The D26 1600S diving flashlight is equipped with reverse polarity protection. It forgives mistakes even if you insert the battery incorrectly. Insert the battery according to the +,- markings you will see on your flashlight.

High Durability

For the construction of the flashlight, top-quality raw materials were used so you can enjoy your dive up to 100 meters below the sea surface. It has an IPX8 waterproof rating, making the flashlight completely safe for all your activities. The XTAR D26 1600S diving flashlight features an exceptionally clear lens made of thermally hardened glass. Its permeability reaches up to 98.5% compared to ordinary glass, which ranges from 82% to 92%. Additionally, the fine texture of the elegantly shaped flashlight body combines with its anti-slip property.

  • very powerful flashlight, it definitely does not last the hours stated. At full power, it might last just a bit more than half an hour

This review is about the lumen: 2500 lm

2500lm for the 100€ I got it, it's worth it, everything is good, at night there is nothing left, it keeps the city in sight, maybe a couple of hours at the end, it's powerful, you just have to be careful not to let it slip out of your hands in the sea

Very powerful but the batteries don't last as long as they say and it's very heavy! It's not good for spearfishing!

I gave 100 euros to buy this specific lens, I don't know what material it is made of but it has corroded and broken in many places despite taking good care of it! Another disadvantage is that it has been damaged by salt!

As for the light, it is indeed strong, but if the material is not good, what can you do with it?

First of all, I would like to mention that for anyone who does shallow fishing, therefore solar light is an issue, I consider the (real) 1,000 lumens (not to mention the 1,500 lumens) to be the minimum.

Furthermore, the saying "You get what you pay for" applies fully. Therefore, by having ~100€ to buy a flashlight (when entry-level ones cost ~20€ and top ones cost ~350€), you are aware of what you will get.

    ---

I am coming back after 2.5 months of use. As already mentioned, the button of the flashlight is pressed very easily, resulting in the flashlight often being turned on (inside or outside the water), with all the negative consequences that this entails.
Also, the "pressing" for 3 seconds to turn it off is not convenient at all, compared to flashlights with switch buttons (2 positions).
Finally, in terms of brightness, it is considered "borderline" for those who do shallow fishing or want to illuminate a chamber from a distance.

I have purchased the product in the photo, d26 1600 with the 26650 battery included in the box. Reliable flashlight, very bright and the o-rings seem to be of high quality compared to the xdive flashlights I had. The only problem that I hadn't anticipated is that because it doesn't have a two-position switch, I can't tell by touch when the flashlight is on or off between dives when my mind is elsewhere. It also takes 3 seconds of pressing the button to turn it off. Now I press it for much longer and occasionally put my hand in front of it to see if it's turned on. It has become a habit now. Another issue is that it requires caution during transportation and storage because the button is easily pressed and sometimes it turns on inside the car or boat and I find it on. However, the battery is a beast and has never let me down, I really don't know what they have done but it lasts a ridiculously long time. That's all for now. Happy diving
