Description

Capabilities

The XTAR D26 diving flashlight offers high brightness up to 2500lm. It is the ideal choice for underwater photography, spearfishing, night diving, and many other activities.

Powerful Lighting

The XTAR D26 Diving LED Flashlight with 2500lm Brightness Dual Battery Full Set reaches a maximum output of 2500 lumens. The Cree XHP50.2 LED brings high CRI, color temperature of 6000K (white). It will allow you to see the true colors of the marine world. Four lighting levels - turbo 2500lm, high 1400lm, mid 700lm, and low 30lm. Different brightness can be used in different diving activities.

High Durability

For night diving and deep diving, a longer burn time is required. A battery life of one hour may not be enough. Under the turbo brightness level of 2500 lumens, the XTAR D26 2500 can reach 2 hours of operation, powered by 2x 26650 batteries in large light mode and approximately 1.6 hours of operation time, powered by 1x 26650 battery in small light mode. Near the switch, an LED indicator is placed to show the battery status. This design always greatly assists in diving safety.

Long Range Beam

Deep diving requires the diving flashlight to be longer and brighter, because the risk is greater and anticipating danger in advance is responsible for life. The XTAR D26 2500 uses a high-transmittance lens and a better reflector, which has a beam width of 320m. This allows divers to better avoid marine creatures or hazards.

Ease of Use

The XTAR D26 uses a magnetic press switch. With one press, you can turn the light on/off and adjust the brightness level as you wish. Additionally, a lock function has been added to the switch to prevent accidental activation or deactivation of the light. Simply turn the switch to point to the "LOCK" icon, and then when you want to press the switch, turn it to the "OFF" icon.

Safety & Functionality

The flashlight offers absolute waterproofing as it features IPX8 waterproofing, given that it has a hard shell with a class III anodized finish. The light comes with a comfortable grip and resists corrosion and abrasion - quite durable speed. The reverse polarity protection and smart temperature control allow you to use this diving light without worry. If you want to create a good diving flashlight, the XTAR D26 2500 is perfect, whether for cave diving, deep diving, or night diving.

very powerful flashlight, it definitely does not last the hours stated. At full power, it might last just a bit more than half an hour

2500lm for the 100€ I got it, it's worth it, everything is good, at night there is nothing left, it keeps the city in sight, maybe a couple of hours at the end, it's powerful, you just have to be careful not to let it slip out of your hands in the sea

Very powerful but the batteries don't last as long as they say and it's very heavy! It's not good for spearfishing!

I gave 100 euros to buy this specific lens, I don't know what material it is made of but it has corroded and broken in many places despite taking good care of it! Another disadvantage is that it has been damaged by salt!

As for the light, it is indeed strong, but if the material is not good, what can you do with it?

This review is about the lumen: 1600 lm

First of all, I would like to mention that for anyone who does shallow fishing, therefore solar light is an issue, I consider the (real) 1,000 lumens (not to mention the 1,500 lumens) to be the minimum.

Furthermore, the saying "You get what you pay for" applies fully. Therefore, by having ~100€ to buy a flashlight (when entry-level ones cost ~20€ and top ones cost ~350€), you are aware of what you will get.

    ---

I am coming back after 2.5 months of use. As already mentioned, the button of the flashlight is pressed very easily, resulting in the flashlight often being turned on (inside or outside the water), with all the negative consequences that this entails.
Also, the "pressing" for 3 seconds to turn it off is not convenient at all, compared to flashlights with switch buttons (2 positions).
Finally, in terms of brightness, it is considered "borderline" for those who do shallow fishing or want to illuminate a chamber from a distance.

This review is about the lumen: 1600 lm

I have purchased the product in the photo, d26 1600 with the 26650 battery included in the box. Reliable flashlight, very bright and the o-rings seem to be of high quality compared to the xdive flashlights I had. The only problem that I hadn't anticipated is that because it doesn't have a two-position switch, I can't tell by touch when the flashlight is on or off between dives when my mind is elsewhere. It also takes 3 seconds of pressing the button to turn it off. Now I press it for much longer and occasionally put my hand in front of it to see if it's turned on. It has become a habit now. Another issue is that it requires caution during transportation and storage because the button is easily pressed and sometimes it turns on inside the car or boat and I find it on. However, the battery is a beast and has never let me down, I really don't know what they have done but it lasts a ridiculously long time. That's all for now. Happy diving
