Immortal and epic m2. Purchased 09/2023, it has clocked many and exhaustive kilometers on a gaming PC with AM4 Ryzen 5800X without any issues.

I have been using it for 2-3 years for dual boot Windows/Linux and applications... its comfort in reading and writing is remarkable, as is its accompanying software, which is complete and very user-friendly. However, its current price is disappointing; for the 500MB capacity, I had spent much less than 100 euros, so it is not recommended at the moment compared to a "simple" Sata SSD.

I think my comment is unnecessary.. 980 and 990 are the best choices for m2 at this moment.. 1.5 years extremely satisfied..

None of the memory corruption issues that many of its generation had, but even if there are, the fix is easy with a video on YouTube. The speeds are as stated and have not decreased at all.

So far, I am extremely satisfied with this particular hard drive both in terms of capacity and speed; it does everything it promises and more. However, since I was inexperienced regarding the installation and setup of the drive in the computer, I will share a few things about this aspect to help you with the installation, even though you will see most of the details in videos on YouTube.
1) The hard drive is placed in this metal piece on the motherboard that you see in the photo I uploaded.
2) When you have installed the hard drive in the computer, after you turn on the computer, the hard drive does not appear immediately because you have not activated it from the system. You need to go to the settings and activate it yourself.

Fantastic disk, incredibly fast and trouble-free. I've had it for a year now on my PC and it runs like a charm. There's nothing to worry about.

On Linux it worked perfectly, on Windows at first it had issues with the File Explorer and was very slow, but after 2 firmware updates it works like a charm. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it

I bought it for 78€ in October '22 and since then I have it on my computer with installed Windows and it works like a crazy dog... surely there are cheaper ones with less money but if you want guarantee, quality, and a reputable brand, this SSD is one of the best choices

Awesome NVME. I have it for booting Windows and it works like a charm, even though it's 4th generation. I don't think you will notice a huge difference compared to the 990pro. Those who get the 2TB version should pay attention to the firmware!!!

Very good SSD Card if you are thinking about 1Tb or 2Tb I would recommend 2TB because you never know. The card is fast and has never had a problem with it

Nice and well-designed packaging, the disk is one of the top in its category, flawless! If your motherboard does not provide a good cooler, it is advisable to get one.

I consider it the most value for money solution, even if you are dealing with graphic design or are designers in a broader context (interior, architecture, 3D modelers, etc.) do not just get this for storage space. Response times are not playing but 1TB is not enough for us: P iykyk

I bought it, about a month ago, as a second (disk) to run games from there, as my first disk I bought a 5th generation m.2. I bought it because Samsung is known for their reliability.

Value SAMSUNG.
It has not caused me any issues as others have reported. Since it is an SSD, avoid many Read/Writes for a better life!

EDIT: I am not talking about speeds but about the technology of SSDs. SSDs in general deteriorate when many Reads/Writes are performed (generally when using a lot of IO).

It is as fast as you read in various tests and reviews. I have put it in an external Asus Arion case and it has not lost any of its speed. In fact, it is faster than the external SSDs I have (Sandisk, Samsung).
I haven't had it for a long time, but I am completely satisfied.
Only when transferring large files does it sometimes have fluctuations, but nothing serious.
Of course, with use, it increases in temperature, but the case helps it function without any problems.

My 2TB seems much faster than the same one, but for 500GB, download Samsung magician and make the disk over provisioning for durability over time

I bought the 2TB and it's amazing, the loading screens are no longer a thing. It's the 3rd one I've bought so I know.

Huge upgrade from the SSD 850 EVO, truly day and night difference, I continue to support Samsung and they have never disappointed!

So far, for me, the 980 Pro is responsive and sustained in its performance. It has a new V-NAND 3-bit TLC memory, which is more reliable and durable than the previous generation. If you are looking for an SSD that combines quality, reliability, and innovation, then the Samsung 980 Pro is an excellent choice. I will come back if I see drastic speed drops.

I have had it for a month. It is still early, but so far it does what it promises. I hope to have the same good experience with the 500gb 980 PRO, which I have been using for about a year now. This one was added as an increase in storage space to my existing PC. I consider it to be one of the most reliable solutions, which is why it was preferred. Also, its purchase cost me 71.50 euros with some discount coupons, so it was a great value for money.

Four stars because it is not the fastest for its price and I should note that after two years it lost 5% of its health... but still very good m2

Quite warm, compared to the nvme 960 evo. I've had it for 6 years and it's still alive, with 6 degrees Celsius idle below the 950 pro 500g. There is a big difference in temperature, with 10 degrees Celsius in load

With the fast speeds, you can do everything even though I have had it for 1 week, its performance does not decrease

At 135 euros, the price has dropped and it is now a very good purchase. The accompanying software is also very convenient.
