In Errand Boys, author D. J. Kirkbride masterfully manages to make us sympathize with the heroes several times, and then in the next moment laugh with them. And if that’s not enough, beyond everything else, he manages to give depth to his characters in a fast-paced adventure with constant shifts, avoiding a one-dimensional presentation of them by relying on easy storytelling solutions.
