    The pan really becomes non-stick if you take care of it, at least at the beginning. We went back to grandma's pan to avoid PFAS. I hope it's not full of heavy metals and that we don't get overloaded with polycyclics... :P

    It has a slightly unusual shape - but it's just fine.

    The other review, it's obvious from the photo that they didn't season it properly enough times before use and didn't let it burn in sufficiently - or they didn't leave the food in place to release itself when it should.

    Pure disappointment. Before using it, I carefully read the instructions to properly season it. After many attempts, the result is what you see in the photo. It sticks worse than a non-stick pan. Not to mention the fact that the sizes they state are a few millimeters smaller, resulting in lids of the same size purchased not fitting these pans. Overall, a waste of money.

Small, forged frying pan from Petromax with excellent heat distribution, ideal for quick, small cooking for 1-2 people. Make amazing omelets, crepes, sauté vegetables and mushrooms, or grill your favorite meat.

Iron is a material that heats up quickly, has a long lifespan, and is human-friendly. They have no coating or color. They are perfect for grilling on gas grills, BBQs, directly over the fire, on electric or ceramic stovetops, or on induction cooktops.

From the very first cooking, the characteristic patina of forged pans forms on the surface of the frying pan. This thin film is created from the cooking vegetable oils, is completely normal and healthy, and improves the non-stick property of the pan. Unlike the surface of other frying pans, the surface of forged and cast iron pans improves the more you use them. Thus, your pan becomes more and more non-stick over time.

Petromax cookware is designed and manufactured in Germany, following strict German quality and safety standards.
