The three stars with which I rate the jacket are based on the comparison I make with the previous model, which I had in my possession for many years.
NEGATIVES
1. They have downgraded the protectors from level 2 to level 1.
2. You do not have the option to remove the protectors and put better ones, because they are sewn into the lining.
3. The plastic hook on the left shoulder to keep the collar open is useless because it is too close and with the slightest movement it comes loose and sticks out in front of your chin like a spoiler.
4. The winter lining, although warm and of good quality, is not sufficiently attached along its entire perimeter (as the previous model was with a zipper and at the top), resulting in it slightly coming out of place when putting it on and taking it off.
5. The central zipper is of good quality, but in its position (between the two corduras) it is not so easy to close, especially if you are wearing gloves.
6. The front zipper is not two-way and only opens from the top, so when traveling in summer you do not have the ventilation you had with the previous model. Also, the front cordura of the zipper was split into two pieces and the top part could be folded and left open with a snap, so even when traveling at high speeds it would not flap.
POSITIVES
1. It has much better quality on its peripheral zippers.
2. It has several spacious pockets and one waterproof pocket. Two zippered vents have been added in front of the armpits.
3. Very good quality of the outer cordura, which also has a waterproof membrane inside.
In conclusion, I believe that the negatives I mentioned are details that make the difference in a jacket from a top company. I wonder why they downgraded their product...
Unless they wanted, in this way, to promote the other more expensive model they have (the Bogota), which has all the features that were removed from the Andes.
However, it has a much slimmer fit and that was the reason I did not buy it.
Τα τρία αστέρια με τα οποία βαθμολογώ το μπουφάν, είναι βάση τη σύγκρισης που κάνω με το προηγούμενο μοντέλο το οποίο το είχα στην κατοχή μου για πολλά χρόνια.
ΑΡΝΗΤΙΚΑ
1. Έχουν υποβαθμίσει τα προστατευτικά από level 2 σε level 1.
2. Δεν έχεις τη δυνατότητα να αφαιρέσεις τα προστατευτικά και να βάλεις καλύτερα , διότι είναι ραμμένα μέσα στην επένδυση.
3. Το πλαστικό γατζάκι που έχει αριστερά στον ώμο για να κρατάς το γιακά ανοιχτό, είναι άχρηστο γιατί είναι σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση και με την παραμικρή κίνηση αποδεσμεύεται και προεξέχει μπροστά από το σαγόνι σου σαν αεροτομή.
4. Η χειμερινή επένδυση, παρόλο που είναι ζεστή και ποιοτική, δεν είναι επαρκώς δεμένη σε όλο το μήκος της περιμετρικά (όπως ήταν το προηγούμενο μοντέλο με φερμουάρ και στο πάνω μερος) με αποτέλεσμα στο βάλε - βγάλε να φεύγει ελαφρώς από τη θέση της.

Επίσης, η μπροστινή κορντούρα του φερμουάρ ήταν χωρισμένη σε δύο κομμάτια και το πάνω μέρος μπορούσες να το διπλώσεις και με μία σούστα να το αφήσεις ανοιχτό, ώστε ακόμη και όταν ταξιδεύεις με πολλά χιλιόμετρα να μη χτυπάει.
ΘΕΤΙΚΑ
1. Έχει πολύ καλύτερη ποιότητα στα περιφερειακά φερμουάρ του.
2. Έχει αρκετές ευρύχωρες τσέπες και μία αδιάβροχη.
Έχουν προστεθεί 2 εξαερισμοί με φερμουάρ μπροστά από τις μασχάλες.
3. Πολύ καλή ποιότητα της εξωτερικής κορντούρας η οποία μέσα της και αδιάβροχη μεμβράνη.
Εν κατακλείδι, θεωρώ ότι αυτά που ανέφερα ως αρνητικά, είναι λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν τη διαφορά σε ένα μπουφάν μίας κορυφαίας εταιρείας. Απορώ γιατί υποβάθμισαν προϊόν τους...
Εκτός και αν ήθελαν με αυτό τον τρόπο, να προωθήσουν το άλλο πιο ακριβό μοντέλο που έχουν (το Bogota), το οποίο έχει όλα αυτά που αφαιρέθηκαν από το Andes.
Όμως έχει πολύ πιο στενή γραμμή και ήταν και ο λόγος που δεν το πήρα.
The jacket is super, for the price it had at 180 euros I don't think it has any competition and with the guarantee of Alpinestars. I wore it in the countryside in central Macedonia with 2 degrees outside, for over 1 hour and I didn't feel anything, neither cold nor moisture. I highly recommend it

I have had the jacket for four years of daily use. Many times, due to its ventilation, I wear it in the summer by removing the lining. After the third year, it started to let moisture in the sleeves where it bends from movement at the elbows, and this happens after a long time in the rain. It is warm at 5 degrees with a shirt underneath, it's just fine. If you wear a thicker shirt, you won't notice anything. After three years, where there is friction on the sleeves, it shows wear. Clearly, it has lost its color due to the sun, but this shows that it has been used a lot. It has many pockets, two of which also act as air vents in the heat. It also has two vents on the back. It has three fully waterproof pockets. On the negative side, like all branded jackets nowadays, the protectors are of the flex type. I don't hold them in high regard. I put in old-style Dainese ones. At 225, which I bought it for, it is worth it and more. This year it went up to 300, and I bought it again on sale for 220. One of the best and most honest jackets for that money. VFM.
Το μπουφαν το εχω τεσσερα χρονια καθημερινής χρησης. Πολλές φορες λογο του εξαερισμού του το φοραω και καλοκαίρι βγαζοντας την επένδυση. Εχει καλο εξαερισμό παρόλο που η αδιάβροχη μεμβράνη μενει πανω. Ειναι παρα πολυ καλο μπουφαν. Μετα τον τριτο χρόνο άρχισε να βαζει υγρασια νερο στα μανικια εκει που τσακιζει απο την κινηση στους αγκώνες και αυτο μετα απο πολυ ωρα βροχης. Ειναι ζεστο με 5 βαθμους και πουκαμισο απο μεσα ειναι μια χαρα. Αν φορας μπλουζα ποιο χοντρη δεν καταλαβαίνει τιποτα. Μετα τα τρια χρονια οπου υπαρχει τριβή στα μανικια δείχνει φθορά. Σαφώς και εχει χασει το χρώμα του λογο του ήλιου αλλα αυτο δείχνει οτι εχει κανει πολύ χρηση. Εχει πολλες τσεπες οπου οι δυο ειναι και σαν αεραγωγοι στη ζεστη .Εχει και δυο αεραγωγούς στην πλατη. Εχει και τρεις τσεπες φουλ αδιαβροχες. Στα αρνητικά οπως και σε ολα πλέον τα επωνυμα μπουφαν, τα προστατευτικά που ειναι τυπου flex. Δεν τα εχω σε πολύ υπόληψή. Εβαλα παλιού τυπου dainese.
Στα 225 που το ειχα παρει τα αξίζει και με το παραπάνω. Φετος πηγε στα 300 και σε προσφορά 220 το αγορασα ξανα.
Απο τα καλυτερα και ποιο τίμια μπουφαν στα χρηματα αυτα. VFM.

It is warm at 5 degrees with a shirt underneath, it's just fine. If you wear a thicker shirt, you won't notice anything. After three years, where there is friction on the sleeves, it shows wear. Clearly, it has lost its color due to the sun, but this shows that it has been used a lot. It has many pockets, two of which also act as air vents in the heat. It also has two vents on the back. It has three fully waterproof pockets. On the negative side, like all branded jackets nowadays, the protectors are of the flex type. I don't hold them in high regard. I put in old-style Dainese ones. At 225, which I bought it for, it is worth it and more. This year it went up to 300, and I bought it again on sale for 220. One of the best and most honest jackets for that money. VFM.
Το μπουφαν το εχω τεσσερα χρονια καθημερινής χρησης. Πολλές φορες λογο του εξαερισμού του το φοραω και καλοκαίρι βγαζοντας την επένδυση. Εχει καλο εξαερισμό παρόλο που η αδιάβροχη μεμβράνη μενει πανω. Ειναι παρα πολυ καλο μπουφαν. Μετα τον τριτο χρόνο άρχισε να βαζει υγρασια νερο στα μανικια εκει που τσακιζει απο την κινηση στους αγκώνες και αυτο μετα απο πολυ ωρα βροχης. Ειναι ζεστο με 5 βαθμους και πουκαμισο απο μεσα ειναι μια χαρα. Αν φορας μπλουζα ποιο χοντρη δεν καταλαβαίνει τιποτα. Μετα τα τρια χρονια οπου υπαρχει τριβή στα μανικια δείχνει φθορά. Σαφώς και εχει χασει το χρώμα του λογο του ήλιου αλλα αυτο δείχνει οτι εχει κανει πολύ χρηση. Εχει πολλες τσεπες οπου οι δυο ειναι και σαν αεραγωγοι στη ζεστη .Εχει και δυο αεραγωγούς στην πλατη. Εχει και τρεις τσεπες φουλ αδιαβροχες. Στα αρνητικά οπως και σε ολα πλέον τα επωνυμα μπουφαν, τα προστατευτικά που ειναι τυπου flex. Δεν τα εχω σε πολύ υπόληψή. Εβαλα παλιού τυπου dainese.
Στα 225 που το ειχα παρει τα αξίζει και με το παραπάνω. Φετος πηγε στα 300 και σε προσφορά 220 το αγορασα ξανα.
Απο τα καλυτερα και ποιο τίμια μπουφαν στα χρηματα αυτα. VFM.

The three stars with which I rate the jacket are based on the comparison I make with the previous model, which I had in my possession for many years.
NEGATIVES
1. They have downgraded the protectors from level 2 to level 1.
2. You do not have the option to remove the protectors and put better ones, because they are sewn into the lining.
3. The plastic hook on the left shoulder to keep the collar open is useless because it is too close and with the slightest movement it comes loose and sticks out in front of your chin like a spoiler.
4. The winter lining, although warm and of good quality, is not sufficiently attached along its entire perimeter (as the previous model was with a zipper and at the top), resulting in it slightly coming out of place when putting it on and taking it off.
5. The central zipper is of good quality, but in its position (between the two corduras) it is not so easy to close, especially if you are wearing gloves.
6. The front zipper is not two-way and only opens from the top, so when traveling in summer you do not have the ventilation you had with the previous model. Also, the front cordura of the zipper was split into two pieces and the top part could be folded and left open with a snap, so even when traveling at high speeds it would not flap.
POSITIVES
1. It has much better quality on its peripheral zippers.
2. It has several spacious pockets and one waterproof pocket. Two zippered vents have been added in front of the armpits.
3. Very good quality of the outer cordura, which also has a waterproof membrane inside.
In conclusion, I believe that the negatives I mentioned are details that make the difference in a jacket from a top company. I wonder why they downgraded their product...
Unless they wanted, in this way, to promote the other more expensive model they have (the Bogota), which has all the features that were removed from the Andes.
However, it has a much slimmer fit and that was the reason I did not buy it.
Τα τρία αστέρια με τα οποία βαθμολογώ το μπουφάν, είναι βάση τη σύγκρισης που κάνω με το προηγούμενο μοντέλο το οποίο το είχα στην κατοχή μου για πολλά χρόνια.
ΑΡΝΗΤΙΚΑ
1. Έχουν υποβαθμίσει τα προστατευτικά από level 2 σε level 1.
2. Δεν έχεις τη δυνατότητα να αφαιρέσεις τα προστατευτικά και να βάλεις καλύτερα , διότι είναι ραμμένα μέσα στην επένδυση.
3. Το πλαστικό γατζάκι που έχει αριστερά στον ώμο για να κρατάς το γιακά ανοιχτό, είναι άχρηστο γιατί είναι σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση και με την παραμικρή κίνηση αποδεσμεύεται και προεξέχει μπροστά από το σαγόνι σου σαν αεροτομή.
4. Η χειμερινή επένδυση, παρόλο που είναι ζεστή και ποιοτική, δεν είναι επαρκώς δεμένη σε όλο το μήκος της περιμετρικά (όπως ήταν το προηγούμενο μοντέλο με φερμουάρ και στο πάνω μερος) με αποτέλεσμα στο βάλε - βγάλε να φεύγει ελαφρώς από τη θέση της.
5. Το κεντρικό φερμουάρ είναι ποιοτικό, αλλά στη θέση που είναι (ανάμεσα στις δύο κορντούρες) δεν είναι τόσο εύκολο να το κλείσεις ιδιαίτερα εαν φοράς γάντια.
6. Το μπροστινό φερμουάρ δεν είναι αμφίδρομο και ανοίγει μόνο από πάνω με αποτέλεσμα όταν ταξιδεύεις καλοκαίρι να μην έχεις τον εξαερισμό που είχες με το προηγούμενο μοντέλο. Επίσης, η μπροστινή κορντούρα του φερμουάρ ήταν χωρισμένη σε δύο κομμάτια και το πάνω μέρος μπορούσες να το διπλώσεις και με μία σούστα να το αφήσεις ανοιχτό, ώστε ακόμη και όταν ταξιδεύεις με πολλά χιλιόμετρα να μη χτυπάει.
ΘΕΤΙΚΑ
1. Έχει πολύ καλύτερη ποιότητα στα περιφερειακά φερμουάρ του.
2. Έχει αρκετές ευρύχωρες τσέπες και μία αδιάβροχη.
Έχουν προστεθεί 2 εξαερισμοί με φερμουάρ μπροστά από τις μασχάλες.
3. Πολύ καλή ποιότητα της εξωτερικής κορντούρας η οποία μέσα της και αδιάβροχη μεμβράνη.
Εν κατακλείδι, θεωρώ ότι αυτά που ανέφερα ως αρνητικά, είναι λεπτομέρειες που κάνουν τη διαφορά σε ένα μπουφάν μίας κορυφαίας εταιρείας. Απορώ γιατί υποβάθμισαν προϊόν τους...
Εκτός και αν ήθελαν με αυτό τον τρόπο, να προωθήσουν το άλλο πιο ακριβό μοντέλο που έχουν (το Bogota), το οποίο έχει όλα αυτά που αφαιρέθηκαν από το Andes.
Όμως έχει πολύ πιο στενή γραμμή και ήταν και ο λόγος που δεν το πήρα.
The jacket is super, for the price it had at 180 euros I don't think it has any competition and with the guarantee of Alpinestars. I wore it in the countryside in central Macedonia with 2 degrees outside, for over 1 hour and I didn't feel anything, neither cold nor moisture. I highly recommend it
