The packaging that arrived was overly simple and you don't understand the brand. The filter is nothing special. The whole construction is indeed metallic, but the bottom part and the faucet are plastic, so you can't avoid the contact of water with plastic. It hasn't created any issues, but it definitely doesn't meet the 100% stainless steel standard. Even at the spout from the faucet, it collects scale. The filter, if I remember correctly, is Indian, only inside a membrane, so it somewhat improves the unpleasant smell and taste but not any super difference. At this price, I don't know if you can find something better, but if you want 100% metal without plastic, this isn't it...

It does the job it was purchased for correctly and from my experience in cleaning systems and filters, this is what counts

We had the Grohe Minta with a telephone. Faucets that have a telephone or resemble the Minta DO NOT fit with the filter. Before making a purchase, make sure to check this specific faucet. If you have a similar design or logic, DO NOT proceed with the purchase. See if you can install an under-sink filter.
Therefore, we bought a new faucet (the one in the photo), so the cost skyrocketed. But it's worth it for the quality of the water you drink.

Quite good, it saves you the trouble of carrying bottled water. The money you need to pay for bottled water over time is much higher compared to the replacement filter. We protect the environment by reducing plastic. I have recommended it elsewhere as well.
