Positives: It has a fairly large flow, a nice design, and it is economical.
Negatives: Compared to another brand (from Italy) that I have, it seems to have cheaper materials without any problem in functionality. The spout is a bit loose, which can be fixed with a larger rubber band (o ring).
In conclusion, for this price, it is worth drinking clean water without a second thought

My countertop seems completely noname, the packaging only says "WATER FILTER The Water you deserve" nothing else!
There is no mention anywhere of the name Eiger, nor any other certification (e.g. BPA & BPS free).
Also, it has differences compared to the photo.
In a communication I had with the store, they confirmed that I received the correct device.
I give it 2 stars because otherwise it seems to work

Σε επικοινωνία που είχα με το κατάστημα, μου επιβεβαίωσαν οτι παρέλαβα τη σωστή συσκευή.

The packaging that arrived was overly simple and you don't understand the brand. The filter is nothing special. The whole construction is indeed metallic, but the bottom part and the faucet are plastic, so you can't avoid the contact of water with plastic. It hasn't created any issues, but it definitely doesn't meet the 100% stainless steel standard. Even at the spout from the faucet, it collects scale. The filter, if I remember correctly, is Indian, only inside a membrane, so it somewhat improves the unpleasant smell and taste but not any super difference. At this price, I don't know if you can find something better, but if you want 100% metal without plastic, this isn't it...

I got the stainless steel "Eiger" which had no indication (indeed it had a torn sticker from another brand) in a generic box and was accompanied by the Matrikx PB1 0.5μm filter. It seems that the stainless steel is OEM that simply stick the sticker of each brand. Otherwise it is the same as the one in the photo.
What I like:
- sturdy construction,
- BPA-free.
What I don't like:
- difficult to close,
- when you place the filter, you put a wheel on top and bottom so that there is no leakage of unfiltered water into the inside of the filter (where you should only have filtered water coming out of the tap). However, on the top side the hole with the wheel does not fit properly in the protrusion inside the upper part of the stainless steel casing. So you end up with leakage of unfiltered water inside the filtered water. The filter does not need to have any hole on the top (as there is no filtered water outlet there). It should have been designed to either close completely, for example with a rubber plug (as I did with a patent after a lot of searching...) and which should be provided with the device or alternatively could offer a different type of filter (??) closed from the top side.
Πήρα το ανοξείδωτο "Eiger" το οποίο δεν είχε κάποια ένδειξη ( μάλιστα είχε κάποιο σχισμένο αυτοκόλλητο από άλλη μάρκα) σε ένα generic κουτί και συνοδευόταν από το φίλτρο Matrikx PB1 0.5μm. Φαίνεται ότι το ανοξείδωτο είναι ΟΕΜ που απλά κολλάνε το αυτοκόλλητο της κάθε μάρκας. Κατά τα λοιπά είναι ίδιο με αυτό της φωτογραφίας.
Τι μου αρέσει:
- στιβαρή κατασκευή,

Τι δεν μου αρέσει:
- με δυσκολία κλείνει,
- το φίλτρο όταν το τοποθετείς, βάζεις από μία ροδέλα πάνω και κάτω ώστε να μην έχεις διαρροή αφιλτράριστου νερού προς το εσωτερικό του φίλτρου (όπου πρέπει να έχεις μόνο φιλτραρισμένο νερό το οποίο βγαίνει από το βρυσάκι). Όμως στην πάνω πλευρά η τρύπα με τη ροδέλα δεν εφαρμόζει σωστά στην προεξοχή που υπάρχει εσωτερικά στο επάνω μέρος του ανοξείδωτου κελύφους. Έτσι έχεις τελικά διαρροή αφιλτράριστου νερού μέσα στο φιλτραρισμένο. Το φίλτρο δε χρειάζεται να έχει καθόλου τρύπα στο πάνω μέρος (καθώς δεν υπάρχει εξαγωγή φιλτραρισμένου εκεί) . Θα έπρεπε να είχε προβλεφθεί ώστε ή να κλείνει εντελώς πχ με κάποια τάπα καουτσούκ (όπως έκανα με πατέντα μετά από αρκετή αναζήτηση ...) και η οποία θα έπρεπε να παρέχεται με τη συσκευή ή εναλλακτικά θα μπορούσε να προσφέρεται άλλου τύπου φίλτρο (??) κλειστό από την πάνω πλευρά.
I was unpleasantly surprised by its size. I expected it to be much smaller but it is very large and barely fits in the sink. All this was quickly overcome as it does a very good job and the tap water is finally drinkable with pleasure and there is no longer need to carry 6-packs to the 2nd floor without an elevator

Very clean "soft" water, without the smell of chlorine and other chemical odors. The device has a very good flow and installation without any problems. I had another branded filter with the same results and multiple times the cost per replacement filter, €60 for the branded replacement compared to €12 for this one!
Πολύ καθαρό «απαλό» νερο, χωρις μυρωδια χλωριου και αλλες χημικες μυρωδιες. Η συσκευή έχει πολυ καλη ροη και τοποθετηση χωρις προβληματα. Ειχα αλλο επωνυμο φιλτρο με τα ιδια αποτελέσματα και πολλαπλασιο όμως κοστος ανα ανταλλακτικό φίλτρο, 60€ το επωνυμο ανταλλακτικό εναντι 12€ του συγκεκριμενου !

It is unlikely that someone will drink tap water again.
Also, those who claim that it has no pressure should take a closer look, as well as those who mention leaks should remember to remove the plastic casing from the filter. They have done something wrong.
The faucet of the filter has tremendous pressure.
The problem, which is also significant, is that it does not fit all faucets, despite claiming to fit most of them.
We had the Grohe Minta with a telephone. Faucets that have a telephone or resemble the Minta DO NOT fit with the filter. Before making a purchase, make sure to check this specific faucet. If you have a similar design or logic, DO NOT proceed with the purchase. See if you can install an under-sink filter.
Therefore, we bought a new faucet (the one in the photo), so the cost skyrocketed. But it's worth it for the quality of the water you drink.

Είχαμε τη Grohe Minta, με τηλέφωνο. Όσες βρύσες έχουν τηλέφωνο ή μοιάζουν με την Minta, ΔΕΝ ταιριάζουν με το φίλτρο. Πριν προχωρήσετε σε αγορά δείτε οπωσδήποτε τη συγκεκριμένη βρύση. Αν έχετε ίδια σε σχέδιο ή λογική ΜΗΝ προχωρήσετε σε αγορά. Δείτε αν μπορείτε να βάλετε φίλτρο κάτω πάγκου.
Αγοράσαμε λοιπόν νέα βρύση (αυτή της φωτογραφίας), οπότε το κόστος εκτοξεύτηκε. Χαλάλι όμως για την ποιότητα νερού που πίνεις.

I have had it in my possession for 3 months and I can say that it dramatically improves the quality of the water both visually and in taste. Η συσκευασία που ήρθε ήταν υπερβολικά απλή και δεν καταλαβαίνεις την μάρκα. Το φίλτρο όχι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο. Η όλη κατασκευή είναι ναι μεν μεταλλική, όμως το κάτω μέρος και το βρυσάκι είναι πλαστικά, οπότε δεν γλυτώνεις την επαφή του νερού με το πλαστικό. Δεν έχει δημιουργήσει κάποιο θέμα, αλλά σίγουρα δεν ανταποκρίνεται στο 100% ανοξείδωτο μέταλλο. Ακόμα στο στόμειο από το βρυσάκι πιάνει άλατα. Το φίλτρο αν θυμάμαι καλά ινδικό, μόνο μέσα σε μια μεμβράνη, οπότε βελτιώνει κάπως την άσχημη οσμή και γεύση αλλά όχι κάποια σούπερ διαφορά. Στην τιμή αυτή δεν ξέρω αν βρίσκεις κάτι καλύτερο, αλλά αν θες 100% μεταλλο χωρίς πλαστικό, αυτό δεν...
I got the stainless steel "Eiger" which had no indication (indeed it had a torn sticker from another brand) in a generic box and was accompanied by the Matrikx PB1 0.5μm filter. It seems that the stainless steel is OEM that simply stick the sticker of each brand. Otherwise it is the same as the one in the photo.
What I like:
- sturdy construction,
- BPA-free.
What I don't like:
- difficult to close,
- when you place the filter, you put a wheel on top and bottom so that there is no leakage of unfiltered water into the inside of the filter (where you should only have filtered water coming out of the tap). However, on the top side the hole with the wheel does not fit properly in the protrusion inside the upper part of the stainless steel casing. So you end up with leakage of unfiltered water inside the filtered water. The filter does not need to have any hole on the top (as there is no filtered water outlet there). It should have been designed to either close completely, for example with a rubber plug (as I did with a patent after a lot of searching...) and which should be provided with the device or alternatively could offer a different type of filter (??) closed from the top side.
Πήρα το ανοξείδωτο "Eiger" το οποίο δεν είχε κάποια ένδειξη ( μάλιστα είχε κάποιο σχισμένο αυτοκόλλητο από άλλη μάρκα) σε ένα generic κουτί και συνοδευόταν από το φίλτρο Matrikx PB1 0.5μm. Φαίνεται ότι το ανοξείδωτο είναι ΟΕΜ που απλά κολλάνε το αυτοκόλλητο της κάθε μάρκας. Κατά τα λοιπά είναι ίδιο με αυτό της φωτογραφίας.
Τι μου αρέσει:
- στιβαρή κατασκευή,
- BPA-free.
Τι δεν μου αρέσει:
- με δυσκολία κλείνει,
- το φίλτρο όταν το τοποθετείς, βάζεις από μία ροδέλα πάνω και κάτω ώστε να μην έχεις διαρροή αφιλτράριστου νερού προς το εσωτερικό του φίλτρου (όπου πρέπει να έχεις μόνο φιλτραρισμένο νερό το οποίο βγαίνει από το βρυσάκι). Όμως στην πάνω πλευρά η τρύπα με τη ροδέλα δεν εφαρμόζει σωστά στην προεξοχή που υπάρχει εσωτερικά στο επάνω μέρος του ανοξείδωτου κελύφους. Έτσι έχεις τελικά διαρροή αφιλτράριστου νερού μέσα στο φιλτραρισμένο. Το φίλτρο δε χρειάζεται να έχει καθόλου τρύπα στο πάνω μέρος (καθώς δεν υπάρχει εξαγωγή φιλτραρισμένου εκεί) . Θα έπρεπε να είχε προβλεφθεί ώστε ή να κλείνει εντελώς πχ με κάποια τάπα καουτσούκ (όπως έκανα με πατέντα μετά από αρκετή αναζήτηση ...) και η οποία θα έπρεπε να παρέχεται με τη συσκευή ή εναλλακτικά θα μπορούσε να προσφέρεται άλλου τύπου φίλτρο (??) κλειστό από την πάνω πλευρά.
I was unpleasantly surprised by its size. I expected it to be much smaller but it is very large and barely fits in the sink. All this was quickly overcome as it does a very good job and the tap water is finally drinkable with pleasure and there is no longer need to carry 6-packs to the 2nd floor without an elevator
Εξεπλάγειν δυσάρεστα με τον όγκο του. Το περίμενα αρκετά μικρότερο αλλά είναι πολυ'μεγάλο και με το ζόρι χωράει στον νεροχύτη. Όλο αυτό συνηθίστηκε γρήγορα καθώς κάνει πολύ καλή δουλειά και το νερό της βρύσης πίνεται επιτέλους με ευχαρίστηση και δεν είναι ανάγκη πλέον να κουβαλάω 6άδες στον 2ο χωρίς ασανσέρ
Very clean "soft" water, without the smell of chlorine and other chemical odors. The device has a very good flow and installation without any problems. I had another branded filter with the same results and multiple times the cost per replacement filter, €60 for the branded replacement compared to €12 for this one!
Πολύ καθαρό «απαλό» νερο, χωρις μυρωδια χλωριου και αλλες χημικες μυρωδιες. Η συσκευή έχει πολυ καλη ροη και τοποθετηση χωρις προβληματα. Ειχα αλλο επωνυμο φιλτρο με τα ιδια αποτελέσματα και πολλαπλασιο όμως κοστος ανα ανταλλακτικό φίλτρο, 60€ το επωνυμο ανταλλακτικό εναντι 12€ του συγκεκριμενου !
I wouldn't change this filter for anything, I've been using it for years and that's why I bought the whole set together, it was on offer. And the faucet is also very good for the sink

This was purchased for the sink as there is a major problem with the pipes in the house and until they are all removed, we have to clean the water, but I will definitely keep it in any case. It has a very good flow

Although it is a kitchen sink, we put it in the bathroom because there is an issue with old pipes in the house. Overall, very good. It could maybe have a slightly better flow, but it is more than sufficient for the bathroom sink

The filter does exactly what it is intended to do.
It is unlikely that someone will drink tap water again.
Also, those who claim that it has no pressure should take a closer look, as well as those who mention leaks should remember to remove the plastic casing from the filter. They have done something wrong.
The faucet of the filter has tremendous pressure.
The problem, which is also significant, is that it does not fit all faucets, despite claiming to fit most of them.
We had the Grohe Minta with a telephone. Faucets that have a telephone or resemble the Minta DO NOT fit with the filter. Before making a purchase, make sure to check this specific faucet. If you have a similar design or logic, DO NOT proceed with the purchase. See if you can install an under-sink filter.
Therefore, we bought a new faucet (the one in the photo), so the cost skyrocketed. But it's worth it for the quality of the water you drink.
Το φίλτρο κάνει ακριβώς αυτό που προορίζεται.
Δύσκολα θα ξαναπιεί κάποιος νερό βρύσης.
Επίσης όσοι γράφουν ότι δεν έχει πίεση να το κοιτάξουν καλύτερα καθώς και όσοι γράφουν για διαρροές να θυμηθούν να αφαιρέσουν από το φίλτρο εσωτερικά το πλαστικό περίβλημα. Κάτι έχουν κάνει λάθος.
Η βρύση του φίλτρου έχει τεράστια πίεση.
Το πρόβλημα το οποίο είναι και μεγάλο, είναι οτι δεν κάνει σε όλες τις βρύσες παρότι γράφει ότι ταιριάζει με τις περισσότερες.
Είχαμε τη Grohe Minta, με τηλέφωνο. Όσες βρύσες έχουν τηλέφωνο ή μοιάζουν με την Minta, ΔΕΝ ταιριάζουν με το φίλτρο. Πριν προχωρήσετε σε αγορά δείτε οπωσδήποτε τη συγκεκριμένη βρύση. Αν έχετε ίδια σε σχέδιο ή λογική ΜΗΝ προχωρήσετε σε αγορά. Δείτε αν μπορείτε να βάλετε φίλτρο κάτω πάγκου.
Αγοράσαμε λοιπόν νέα βρύση (αυτή της φωτογραφίας), οπότε το κόστος εκτοξεύτηκε. Χαλάλι όμως για την ποιότητα νερού που πίνεις.
Quite good, it saves you the trouble of carrying bottled water. The money you need to pay for bottled water over time is much higher compared to the replacement filter. We protect the environment by reducing plastic. I have recommended it elsewhere as well.

I have had it in my possession for 3 months and I can say that it dramatically improves the quality of the water both visually and in taste. Especially if you have poor quality water, you will notice a difference. Easy to assemble, you just need to remove the protective cellophane from the filter and place it in the case. It shows quality in its construction.

The packaging that arrived was overly simple and you don't understand the brand. The filter is nothing special. The whole construction is indeed metallic, but the bottom part and the faucet are plastic, so you can't avoid the contact of water with plastic. It hasn't created any issues, but it definitely doesn't meet the 100% stainless steel standard. Even at the spout from the faucet, it collects scale. The filter, if I remember correctly, is Indian, only inside a membrane, so it somewhat improves the unpleasant smell and taste but not any super difference. At this price, I don't know if you can find something better, but if you want 100% metal without plastic, this isn't it...
