It offers freedom in your travels and you won't be concerned about its performance as it withstands warm environments.

It is very easy to use, reusable, and lasts forever.

The FRIO travel wallet is an evaporative cooling unit designed to keep insulin and other medications cool and at safe temperatures of 18-26°C for at least 45 hours, even in a constant ambient temperature of 37.8°C.

Simply activate it with cold water for the required time depending on the size of the wallet.

The FRIO Cooling Wallet consists of two parts:

  • the internal cooling wallet which requires cooling with cold water
  • the external Cambrelle cover which protects the internal cooling wallet.

    So far (on >12-hour trips with airport and airplane temperatures) it has proven more useful than regular ice packs (reasonable size and relatively cool). I haven't evaluated it yet in "summer conditions." It is also more convenient than the smaller size Frio case, which does not have the appropriate dimensions for standard Tresiba pens.
