A very good and fast drive was purchased to replace an 840 evo which I had for several years without any problems, it just had a small capacity. Cloning was done via magician and it works perfectly and is slightly faster than the 840. Very good upgrade, I hope it lasts as long as the other one.

I bought it after dozens of positive comments!! Amazing!! I put it in a 12-year-old Fujitsu laptop and it's like night and day!! It works perfectly and is incredibly fast!! The laptop became like new!! I downloaded Samsung Magician which includes Data Migration and did cloning, and everything was transferred successfully!!

I installed it in an ASUS F553M laptop. Initially, I put it in an IBOX HD-05 HDD/SSD ENCLOSURE BLUE 2.5" case. The computer recognized it as an external device, but it did not appear as a hard drive. Then, in the Windows 10 search menu, I typed diskmgt and formatted the device to NTFS. Once the formatting was complete, the computer recognized the device as an external drive. Next, I installed Samsung Magician and selected the data migration menu. At first, the target SSD Samsung EVO disk did not appear so I could clone the old hard drive. I had to click the refresh icon at the top right for it to find it. The cloning took about 9 hours from Seagate HDD 500GV SATA II to Samsung SSD EVO 870 SATA III. Then I removed the new EVO hard drive from the case and installed it in the laptop, first removing the old hard drive. Everything worked correctly and the computer runs faster.

After 3 years and crazy hours of use, it does its job.

can hold games but can’t run large games like cod or valorant or marvel rivals I would agree that it has storage and reliablility with storing videos and such thing but it’s not that good for gaming

I had no problems with this particular SSD! I installed it in a 12-inch Sony Vaio laptop without even needing to format and do a clean installation thanks to Samsung's software which essentially cloned my old hard drive in just 10 minutes!!

Regardless of whether the product was amazing when it came out, etc... stop being clueless and all buying this specific hard drive when you can find the new M2s that are 10 times faster (and more) for the same money. Do your research because it’s completely ridiculous for this drive to have 120 orders a month in 2025

In a year, I replaced it twice; suddenly, while I was playing, it disappeared. The third time, I just kicked it to the trash. It can't be like this every six and a half to seven months.

Perfect Disk, I bought it in 03/2024 and it hasn't had the slightest problem!! The only reason for the 3 stars is its price. I believe that for an SSD these days, the price should be much lower. And consider that I bought it for €267. Now they have raised it even more for no reason. 1/1/2025

For SSDs, only Samsung. Any version, Evo, Pro, etc., by far better drives than any other SSD drive manufacturing company...

I have installed this hard drive in two laptops, a Fujitsu from around 2010 and a Toshiba from 2015. They are not performance computers, but I do daily computing for simple to moderate use. They do their job excellently. I haven't measured performance, nor am I interested in that, but it is really very fast

What can we say now about SAMSUNG. I got it because I had already installed the 850 EVO 250 GB on a TOSHIBA SATELLITE laptop 10 years ago. It just flies!!!!

I have had this specific Samsung 870 Evo SSD 250GB 2.5'' SATA III since May 2017 in a Sony Vaio -VGN-NS11M and it still works without any problems.

Guys, the disk is unsuitable! After 3 years with zero usage since it's in a laptop and is only used for Word occasionally (5 times/month), it started to slow down shutting down Windows. I manually shut it down and then it was not recognized! After 2 hours off power, it connected to Windows and I made a backup. It's giving up soon!!

I believe we all know the speeds and quality of such a disk for its category. Reliable, fast, cool-headed, and Samsung.

Fully upgraded the capabilities of the Laptop! Essentially made it unrecognizable. I bought it based on recommendations and reviews.
