Since the beginning of the 20th century, the discourse on social science and, in general, on modern society cannot overlook the work of Max Weber. This collection of texts by the German thinker covers the period from 1894 to 1920 and is the largest anthology of Weber's works in Greek.

Based on the research results from the publication of the Collected Works (Max Weber Gesamtausgabe), the anthology includes well-known as well as lesser-known texts of Weber in Greece, standalone scientific articles, manuals, presentations and interventions at conferences, political articles, and encyclopedia entries.

From the thorough and demanding methodological debates of the early century to the penetrating political analyses during World War I, from the social analyses of imperial Germany to proposals for research programs, the collection presents, in strict chronological order, the fruits of Weber's scientific and political activity.
