This volume republishes the small collections of texts and articles, A Summer Happiness Cracks (Armos, 1999), History at the Cut of Time (Kastaniotis, 2000), Greeks and the Taliban (Armos, 2001), Envy, Terror, War (Armos, 2003).

It also gathers articles and interviews published between 1999 and 2002. I must point out that the relevance of these writings does not so much have to do with my own foresight as with the discouraging fact that in our country things move very slowly and not necessarily forward.
