GLASS MARBLES

Finally, I found my marbles. I had lost them a long time ago, and suddenly one afternoon, while shifting the heavy wooden sofa in the office, something fell noisily to the floor. At first, I was startled. 'What is that?' I wondered, astonished. A small colorful glass sphere rolled with insignificant force onto my black shoes. 'What a contrast!' I thought and bowed to its beauty. I took it in my hands and, with great care, deposited it in my pocket.

At every moment of the move, one would suddenly appear. Some larger, others smaller. All the colors of the rainbow. Yellow, blue, red, green. Some had all the above mixed together, while others reminded me of the wings of spring butterflies in perpetual motion.
