Installed in an HP Omen laptop. So far it works as it should, without lagging or easily overheating. On the other hand, in games the loads & writes are really fast.

There's a reason they're expensive. Put it in, enjoy, relax. Of course, don't stop taking backups. But the chance of the disk failing on you has vanished.

Samsung M.2. is, I have installed thousands of builds, they have never disappointed me compared to others in terms of time. I have 3 installed, 980, 990, 990 Pro. All 100% in health condition.

Extremely slow. The Samsung SSD I had before was faster, regardless of the advertised speeds claiming this one was faster.

This unit has taken parts from the next series that is PCIe 4.0. As a result, it provides very good Dram-less performance for its price. Along with the diagnostic software (eco/performance mode) and the MLC technology of the drive, you can expect it to maintain the performance you buy for many, many years.

If you want to have more than 3-4 games readily available along with all the software, then get the drive with a capacity of 1TB.

For a year now, it has been flawless without any issues. I have the operating system on it and all the games installed on it run without any problems. The transfers are fast, but they don't reach the speeds mentioned in the specifications. Still, it is fast, doing its job perfectly

For the past 10 years (almost), I have been exclusively using Samsung hard drives. Excellent drive... excellent speed... but it has an issue with temperature. Those of you who know how to monitor the drive's temperature, do it and see what I mean. It is not possible for it to reach temperatures of 76 oC+ during the transfer of large files (or Samsung Magician Benchmark) ... and all of this now with an almost ideal external temperature of 25 oC !!!

I use Samsung SSD disks.
This one didn't work. It might have been this specific series.

Top. Replaced a similar product from another company that claimed to have the same speeds as Samsung in its specifications but never reached them unlike this one.

I bought it for desktop to run Windows 11 and some small files in general, it is fast, high-quality, and does the job correctly within 8 seconds, the PC has been turned on. In terms of speed, I have made file transfers and they are done in less than 8 minutes.

At around €30, I think the price is worth it for a disk with a 5-year warranty. I got the 500gb one and used it for booting Windows, and it's really excellent in terms of speed, pretty much as advertised. This is the third identical disk that I've purchased. Its software is complete for monitoring its health and for creating a clone of your disk again if you want.

He installed a 120GB internal SSD on his laptop (Asus) with an extension, it was attached and finally, it's not exactly 500GB but everything is okay.

Great value for money. I got it for the operating system and it's lightning fast!
The installation is simple, but keep in mind that by installing such a disk, some motherboards cancel 1-2 SATA slots. So if you can't find the other disks after installing the M.2, change the SATA position on the cables of those you can't see.

So far so good. I bought it as a backup since my main one is starting to slow down. Speed isn't a concern for me as I mainly use it for videos and games that take up space. Everything loads quickly and smoothly.

Fast and reliable in operation, perhaps a bit pricey but Samsung's storage options always have greater value and a better quality-price ratio over time.

The second Samsung hard drive I have is a 860 250GB for large Windows games that used to take me hours to load with the old mechanical hard drive, now they open instantly.

The 980 is perhaps the best value for money and top in terms of performance/reliability SSD on the market, and is a "mother" for hosting a user's operating system and programs.

The disk "clicked" onto a Gigabyte B360M DS3H, was recognized immediately and ran smoothly (without any changes to the BIOS). The programs that come with it are also very good (download Samsung Magician and Migration Tool). The migration from an HDD with about 500GB of content was done in less than an hour (and can be done directly from the operating system, just disconnect the PC from the internet to avoid any updates and close all running programs). The speeds are at the promised levels.

Selected for seamless operation in the name of hope. Time will tell, for now everything is as expected.

Very good at transferring large files due to its technology that uses memory from the system as cache. In my benchmarks, it delivered what it promised, perhaps a little more in writes.

I am sharing an image of the performance of the 1TB version. I am completely satisfied, it was recognized directly by the system (Asus Rog B350-F Motherboard) and I generally recommend it for its price.

Although this specific SSD does not have a DRAM Cache, it is truly amazing! Fast, reliable, and comes with a nice software (Samsung Magician) where you can see its temperature, how many reads/writes you have done on the disk, as well as its remaining life. For this price, I definitely recommend it without hesitation.

The evaluation concerns a capacity of 1T. So far, I have successfully installed Windows 10 and my games are running smoothly without any issues. The performance and temperature are excellent, with a temperature of 28c.
