It started working 1 day ago with a clean installation of Windows 10 on a system with the following:
• Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 (rev. 1.0)
• Ryzen 5 5600X
• AMD Radeon 6500 XT
• Corsair TX550M
• G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB 3200Mhz (I did not enable XMP profile as I wanted the system to be as stable as possible in the first few days before running stress tests, gaming performance tests, etc.)
• Corsair 4000D Airflow
It experienced freezes during the installation of various programs, which should not have happened as they were lightweight, and later on the same day, multiple blue screens occurred. I formatted the system and reinstalled Windows. I own several Samsung m.2 drives (970 Evo Plus, 980 Pro) and have installed several Kingston drives like the A2000, but I have not encountered this issue with any other drive. I will provide further updates once I confirm that the issue is related to the disk in my case, and at the same time, I will learn more about this specific product.
Update 27/3/2022: The disk works fine even though it is not listed in the QVL of the motherboard I connected it to. This might be because it is a newer model and has not been added yet. Regarding the aforementioned problem, it was caused by a friend for whom I was building the computer. They attempted to install BlueStacks 5 on Windows 10, and something went very wrong, either due to the specific hardware not supporting the program for some reason or other issues. Immediately, the Windows system encountered blue screens both at that time and throughout the day. The PC entered an endless loop of restarting, meaning it would start, go through the post process, and just before loading Windows, it would restart and repeat the cycle. The problem was resolved by first updating the BIOS, which was 5 versions behind (one of them being a critical update), and then performing a format and clean installation of Windows 10. The disk now boots the aforementioned machine to the desktop in 9-10 seconds and performs well in light gaming, but it is mainly intended for office work. I recommend it in case someone does not want to spend the extra money for the KC series from Kingston.
Update (2 years of usage):
As you can see in the photo below, the temperatures are at a good level, but the wear indicator has dropped by 8% with 3100 hours of operation! My Kingston KC3000 1TB drive has only dropped by 1% in one year with only 2300 hours of operation! This is a significant difference, and personally, I would never trust a disk that deteriorates so quickly (-10%/2 years).
The latest firmware updates for the disk and BIOS updates for the motherboard (GIGABYTE B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 WIFI (rev 1.0)) have been applied. It is running Windows 11, and in 1.5 years, it has undergone a total of 1 to 2 formats.
Ξεκίνησε να δουλεύει πριν 1 ημέρα με καθαρή εγκατάσταση Windows 10 σε ένα σύστημα με τα παρακάτω:
• Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 (rev. 1.0)

• G.Skill Repjaws V 2x8GB 3200Mhz (δεν έβαλα XMP profile καθώς είναι να είναι όσο πιο stable γίνεται το σύστημα τις πρώτες ημέρες πριν γίνουν stress tests, gaming performance test κτλ)
• Corsair 4000D Airflow
Έκανε κολλήματα τύπου freeze στην εγκατάσταση διάφορων προγραμμάτων στα οποία δεν θα έπρεπε καθώς είναι ελαφριά και στη συνέχεια της ίδιας ημέρα πολλαπλά bluescreens. Έγινε format και εκ νέου εγκατάσταση. Έχω στην κατοχή μου πολλούς Samsung m.2 (970 Evo Plus, 980 Pro) και έχω τοποθετήσει αρκετούς Kingston όπως τον A2000 αλλά αυτό δεν το έχω παρατηρήσει σε κανέναν άλλο.
Θα επανέλθω για νεότερα μόλις σιγουρέψω πως φταίει ο δίσκος στην περίπτωση μου ενώ παράλληλα θα μαθαίνω περισσότερα για το συγκεκριμένο προϊόν.
Update 27/3/2022: Ο δίσκος δουλεύει πένα ακόμη και αν δεν βρίσκεται στο QVL της μητρικής που τον κούμπωσα. Ίσως επειδή είναι μεταγενέστερο μοντέλο και δεν τον έχουν προσθέσει (ακόμη). Για το παραπάνω πρόβλημα που αναφέρω φταίει ο φίλος για τον οποίο έχτιζα τον υπολογιστή. Προσπάθησε την εγκατάσταση BlueStacks 5 σε Windows 10 όπου κάτι πήγε πάρα πολύ στραβά ή το συγκεκριμένο hardware δεν υποστηρίζει για κάποιο λόγο το πρόγραμμα. Αμέσως τα Windows του πέταξαν blue screen τόσο εκείνη την ώρα όσο και κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας. Το PC μπήκε σε μια ατέρμων επανάληψη λειτουργίας και restart, δηλαδή το άνοιγες έκανε post και λίγο πριν φορτώσει τα Windows restart και από την αρχή. Το πρόβλημα λύθηκε με πρώτο βήμα update BIOS που είχαν μείνει 5 version πίσω - με μια από αυτές να είναι critical update - και στη συνέχεια format και καθαρή εγκατάσταση Windows 10. Ο δίσκος ανοίγει το παραπάνω μηχάνημα έως το desktop στα 9-10 δευτερόλεπτα και είναι ΟΚ σε καποιο ελαφρύ παιχνίδι αλλά προορίζεται κυρίως για δουλειές γραφείου. Τον προτείνω σε περίπτωση που δεν θα ήθελε να διαθέσει κάποιος τα παραπάνω χρήματα για την σειρά KC της Kingston.
Update (2 χρόνια χρήσης):
Όπως βλέπετε και σε φωτογραφία παρακάτω οι θυεμοκρασίες είναι σε καλό σημείο αλλά το wear indicator με 3100 ώρες λειτουργίας έχει πέσει 8% ! Εμένα Kingston KC3000 1TB στον ένα χρόνο έχει πέσει 1% με μόνο 2300 ώρες λειτουργίας! Τρομακτική διαφορά και προσωπικά δεν θα εμπιστευόμουν ποτέ δίσκο που πέφτει τόσο γρήγορα (-10%/2 χρόνια).
Έχουν γίνει τα τελευταία firmware update του δίσκου καθώς και BIOS update της μητρικής του (GIGABYTE B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 WIFI (rev 1.0). Χρησιμοποιεί Windows 11 και στον 1 ,5 χρόνο έκανε συνολικά 1 με 2 format.
