This work, which provides a complete and systematic interpretation of the Civil Code, aims both to assist and reinforce the scientific knowledge of civil law, and to more effectively translate it into practice.
This volume, which is the seventh (7A) in the series, discusses the chapter on Property Law of the Civil Code (Articles 947-1117 CC). Specifically, it contains the following sections of Property: things and rights in relation to them in general (Articles 947-973), possession (Articles 974-998), ownership in general and its content (Articles 999-1032), acquisition of ownership (Articles 1033-1093), protection of ownership (Articles 1094-1112), and co-ownership (Articles 1113-1117).
A forthcoming volume 7B will cover the remaining articles of Property Law (1118-1345 CC). Following the structure of the Civil Code, after presenting the relevant article, a complete bibliography and articles, interpretation - commentary on the provisions in a concise and clear manner, and finally, relevant case law from both the courts of first instance and the Supreme Court are provided.
The work is complemented by detailed alphabetical indexes, which assist the reader in searching for the issue under investigation. It represents the most modern interpretation of the Civil Code, essential for any lawyer, judge, and legal professional dealing with issues of civil law.
