According to the company, it is hypotonic (the truth is that it has fewer carbohydrates compared to isotonic drinks) but I did not notice any difference in my workouts compared to others (high5, PowerBar, Sis etc). When I need 3 doses in every workout >3 hours, the price is a matter....
