The HP drive is an SSD hard drive with a capacity of 1.92TB. The 2.5"" size makes it ideal for replacing and upgrading a hard drive in a laptop, as well as an affordable option for desktop computers.

It supports the SATA III communication protocol, offering fast speeds and is compatible with the vast majority of motherboards. For installation in a desktop computer, the following are required:

  • A SATA III data cable
  • An available SATA port on the motherboard
  • An available power cable for SATA devices from the power supply

For installation in a laptop, no cables are needed, and the SSD simply plugs into the SATA slot.
