The 1200 mbps is a scam. Once connected by cable to my 500 router it only gives me 100 and of course to the other two units 50 and 30. The company's explanation is that it is old technology and with a cable it only gives that much, but also it is impossible to connect via WiFi which theoretically would give up to 867!!! They suggested I pay another 60 euros to get another, more modern model for the main unit that gives 1000 by cable!! So it's only good if 100 mbps is enough for you

The worst thing ever, I installed 2 to get 100mbps and I barely get 40 after 1 month of use. I tested the router and it gets the full speed, but when I test with the deco it gets much less, it's not worth the money and the technical support is the worst there is.

In case you have a problem with the router's range in some rooms or floors, I highly recommend it, but the speed will not be what you pay for. For me, when I connect to the Deco, I experience more than a 50% loss in speed compared to when I connect with the router. I have attached photos and videos from the measurement via speed test.

Σε εμένα όταν συνδέομαι στο Deco έχω απώλεια άνω του 50% της ταχύτητας σε σχέση με το όταν συνδέομαι με το router, έχω επισυνάψει φωτογραφίες και βίντεο από την μέτρηση μέσω speed test.

Finally, I solved the problem I had at home, and in the rooms, I didn't have a good signal at all despite the extender I had installed. The whole house is now covered; I have signal on the balcony, and my phone connects automatically and almost immediately to the device that serves better.

It was installed in the vacation home, one device on the ground floor, inside a "hidden" little room because that was the only place the house had a phone line for the router, the other device in the house above and the speed I get in all areas is exactly the same as the one I get next to the router. With 2 units, they covered the house perfectly, but I had a gap on the balcony where the signal was minimal. By placing a 3rd one near the balcony, the problem was solved. Good purchase and easy installation with the deco app on the mobile.

The PC in my room is far away from the router.
I tried WiFi, it was a joke. Next solution, Powerline. It was relatively better, but with constant disconnection issues and significant losses (especially if a power-hungry device like a water heater or microwave was turned on).
So, I decided to try the Deco and FINALLY my problems were solved.
Deco #1 was connected to the router via Ethernet, while Deco #2 was plugged into a socket near the PC and connected to it via Ethernet. The result: I am getting 95mbps, which is the maximum speed my line can handle. Ping is extremely low, although I was afraid of it.
Parallel benefit, of course, is the improved WiFi (after all, that's the main purpose).
But in my case, I finally got perfect internet on my PC as if it was a wired connection.
Easy installation with the app. I highly recommend it, give it a try if you are facing a similar problem.

Το PC στο δωμάτιο μου βρίσκεται μακρία από το ρούτερ.
Δοκίμασα WiFi, αστείο. Επόμενη λύση, Powerline. Σχετικά καλύτερο, όμως με συνεχή θέματα αποσυνδέσεων αλλά και μεγάλων απωλειών (ειδικά αν κάποια ενεργοβόρα συσκευή (πχ θερμοσίφωνας, μικροκύματα) ήταν ανοιχτή).
Αποφάσισα λοιπόν να δοκιμάσω τα Deco και ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ τα προβλήματα μου λύθηκαν.
Το #1 Deco μπήκε στο ρούτερ με Ethernet, ενώ το #2 Deco μπήκε σε πρίζα κοντά στο PC και συνδέθηκε σε αυτό με Ethernet. Αποτέλεσμα: να πιάνω 95mbps, όσα δηλ. πιάνει η γραμμή. Ping εξαιρετικά χαμηλό, αν και το φοβόμουν.
Παράλληλο κέρδος φυσικά και το καλύτερο WiFi (εξάλλου αυτή είναι η κύρια χρήση του).
Όμως στην περίπτωση μου επιτέλους απέκτησα άψογο ίντερνετ στο PC μου σαν ενσύρματη σύνδεση.
Εύκολη εγκατάσταση με την εφαρμογή. Πραγματικά το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα, δοκιμάστε το αν αντιμετωπίζετε παρόμοιο πρόβλημα.

This specific mesh has been installed in a house with thick stone walls where, for no reason, the signal of the regular router did not reach the upper floor. Having an M4 v2 in the living room for a 1000mbps capability, with this pair of E4, there is satisfactory coverage throughout the house, even in the most remote room, which is separated by at least 2 thick and one regular wall! Μετά από 4 μέρες λειτουργίας κανένα πρόβλημα, δουλεύει όπως υπόσχεται. Είχα πρόβλημα σε απομακρυσμένο δωμάτιο και με powerline connection συνεχώς διακοπές. Δοκιμάζω τώρα τα e4 που είναι πιο προσιτά σαν τιμή και φαίνεται ότι έλυσα το πρόβλημά μου! Ταχύτητες 45-51 στα τεστ σε 50άρα γραμμή!

The company's explanation is that it is old technology and with a cable it only gives that much, but also it is impossible to connect via WiFi which theoretically would give up to 867!!! They suggested I pay another 60 euros to get another, more modern model for the main unit that gives 1000 by cable!! So it's only good if 100 mbps is enough for you

Εξαιρετικό! Σε μεζονέτα 3 επιπέδων τοποθετήθηκαν 1 στο μεσαίο επίπεδο και 1 στο ισόγειο και πλεον υπάρχει σε όλο το σπίτι σταθερό και γρήγορο wifi. Η ταχύτητα με wifi με το ρουτερ της Nova (100αρι ιντερνετ) κυμαινόταν από 15mbps μέχρι 50 ανάλογα το σημείο ενώ τώρα καρφωτο 75-80 σε όλο το σπίτι!
Ένα άλλο πλεονέκτημα είναι οτι μπορείς να διαχωρίσεις το δίκτυο για όλες τις συσκευές smart στη συχνότητα 2,4GHz ενώ η χρήση με υπολογιστές και κινητά στα 5GHz!

The worst thing ever, I installed 2 to get 100mbps and I barely get 40 after 1 month of use. I tested the router and it gets the full speed, but when I test with the deco it gets much less, it's not worth the money and the technical support is the worst there is.

In case you have a problem with the router's range in some rooms or floors, I highly recommend it, but the speed will not be what you pay for. For me, when I connect to the Deco, I experience more than a 50% loss in speed compared to when I connect with the router. I have attached photos and videos from the measurement via speed test.

Σε εμένα όταν συνδέομαι στο Deco έχω απώλεια άνω του 50% της ταχύτητας σε σχέση με το όταν συνδέομαι με το router, έχω επισυνάψει φωτογραφίες και βίντεο από την μέτρηση μέσω speed test.

Finally, I solved the problem I had at home, and in the rooms, I didn't have a good signal at all despite the extender I had installed. The whole house is now covered; I have signal on the balcony, and my phone connects automatically and almost immediately to the device that serves better.

It was installed in the vacation home, one device on the ground floor, inside a "hidden" little room because that was the only place the house had a phone line for the router, the other device in the house above and the speed I get in all areas is exactly the same as the one I get next to the router. Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα το ελάχιστο ποσό παραπάνω που μπορεί να κοστίζει από ένα extender, είναι μέρα με νύχτα η διαφορά, συν ότι έχεις την επιλογή να τραβήξεις και δύο ethernet από τη δεύτερη συσκευή.
With 2 units, they covered the house perfectly, but I had a gap on the balcony where the signal was minimal. By placing a 3rd one near the balcony, the problem was solved. Good purchase and easy installation with the deco app on the mobile.

The PC in my room is far away from the router.
I tried WiFi, it was a joke. Next solution, Powerline. It was relatively better, but with constant disconnection issues and significant losses (especially if a power-hungry device like a water heater or microwave was turned on).
So, I decided to try the Deco and FINALLY my problems were solved.
Deco #1 was connected to the router via Ethernet, while Deco #2 was plugged into a socket near the PC and connected to it via Ethernet. The result: I am getting 95mbps, which is the maximum speed my line can handle. Ping is extremely low, although I was afraid of it.
Parallel benefit, of course, is the improved WiFi (after all, that's the main purpose).
But in my case, I finally got perfect internet on my PC as if it was a wired connection.
Easy installation with the app. I highly recommend it, give it a try if you are facing a similar problem.

Το PC στο δωμάτιο μου βρίσκεται μακρία από το ρούτερ.
Δοκίμασα WiFi, αστείο. Επόμενη λύση, Powerline. Σχετικά καλύτερο, όμως με συνεχή θέματα αποσυνδέσεων αλλά και μεγάλων απωλειών (ειδικά αν κάποια ενεργοβόρα συσκευή (πχ θερμοσίφωνας, μικροκύματα) ήταν ανοιχτή).
Αποφάσισα λοιπόν να δοκιμάσω τα Deco και ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ τα προβλήματα μου λύθηκαν.
Το #1 Deco μπήκε στο ρούτερ με Ethernet, ενώ το #2 Deco μπήκε σε πρίζα κοντά στο PC και συνδέθηκε σε αυτό με Ethernet. Αποτέλεσμα: να πιάνω 95mbps, όσα δηλ. πιάνει η γραμμή. Ping εξαιρετικά χαμηλό, αν και το φοβόμουν.
Παράλληλο κέρδος φυσικά και το καλύτερο WiFi (εξάλλου αυτή είναι η κύρια χρήση του).
Όμως στην περίπτωση μου επιτέλους απέκτησα άψογο ίντερνετ στο PC μου σαν ενσύρματη σύνδεση.
Εύκολη εγκατάσταση με την εφαρμογή. Πραγματικά το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα, δοκιμάστε το αν αντιμετωπίζετε παρόμοιο πρόβλημα.

This specific mesh has been installed in a house with thick stone walls where, for no reason, the signal of the regular router did not reach the upper floor. Having an M4 v2 in the living room for a 1000mbps capability, with this pair of E4, there is satisfactory coverage throughout the house, even in the most remote room, which is separated by at least 2 thick and one regular wall! It has been installed in a one-floor house of about 130 square meters, with walls and doors separating the two devices, and it is the best network equipment purchase I have ever made.
No router, even at triple the cost of this specific kit, is sufficient to cover the house, without obviously needing professional assistance for wiring.
Powerline extenders were the best solution for stable internet, but this meant that depending on the room I was in, I had to change the wifi.
The mesh technology is impressively fast and stable without any loss, and it creates a unified wifi network.
Its installation was simple through the application.
I haven't tried it in a layout of different floors, but I have no reason to believe that it won't work equally well.
Έχει εγκατασταθεί σε σπίτι ενός ορόφου ~130τμ με τοίχους και πόρτες να μεσολαβούν μεταξύ των δύο συσκευών και είναι η καλύτερη αγορά δικτυακού εξοπλισμού που έχω κάνει ποτέ.
Κανένα ρούτερ, ακόμη και με τριπλάσιο κόστος από το συγκεκριμένο κιτ δεν αρκεί για να καλύψει το σπίτι, χωρίς προφανώς να χρειαστούν συνεργεία για καλωδιώσεις.
Τα powerline extenders ήταν η καλύτερη λύση για σταθερό ίντερνετ αλλά αυτό σήμαινε ότι ανάλογα με το δωμάτιο που βρισκόμουν έπρεπε να αλλάζω wifi.
Η mesh τεχνολογία είναι εντυπωσιακά γρήγορη και σταθερή χωρίς απώλειες και διαμορφώνει ένα ενιαίο δίκτυο wifi.
Η εγκατάστασή του ήταν απλή μέσω της εφαρμογής.
Δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει σε διάταξη διαφορετικών ορόφων αλλά δεν έχω κανένα λόγο να πιστέψω ότι δε θα λειτουργεί εξίσου καλά.
After 4 working days, no problem, it works as promised. I had a problem in a remote room and with powerline connection constantly interrupted. I am now trying the e4, which are more affordable in terms of price and it seems that I solved my problem! Speeds 45-51 in tests on a 50 Mbps line!
Edit 19/05/22: Six months later and they haven't had any problems at all!
Μετά από 4 μέρες λειτουργίας κανένα πρόβλημα, δουλεύει όπως υπόσχεται. Είχα πρόβλημα σε απομακρυσμένο δωμάτιο και με powerline connection συνεχώς διακοπές. Δοκιμάζω τώρα τα e4 που είναι πιο προσιτά σαν τιμή και φαίνεται ότι έλυσα το πρόβλημά μου! Ταχύτητες 45-51 στα τεστ σε 50άρα γραμμή!
Edit 19/05/22: Έξι μήνες μετά και δεν έχουν παρουσιάσει κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα!
Surprisingly, this must be the best access point I’ve ever used. Very good coverage and control via the app.

Very good. They were bought for the then connection at 24Mbps. I just had to go to the TP-LINK Deco M4 v2. Slightly higher price, but they are much more worth it for higher speeds.

I regret it. It constantly creates problems with the router regarding the IP. It has a conflict issue and unfortunately you can't change the IP.
Το μετάνιωσα. Δημιουργεί συνεχώς προβλήματα στο router με την ip. Έχει θεμα σύγκρουσης και δυστυχώς δεν μπορείς να αλλάξεις την ip.
I had bought 2 pieces. One to cover half the house, which was also connected to the provider's router, and one wirelessly as an AP / Extender. Everything worked perfectly until I added a third unit for better coverage in the yard. Since then, everything is crawling. I don't know why. Not even Facebook on my phone loads normally. Meanwhile, the 2 old ones run version 1.7.1 Rel. 43437 and the new one 1.2.2 Rel. 64297. And it refuses to update to the latest version. Go figure..
Είχα αγοράσει 2 κομμάτια. Το ενα για να πάρει το μισό σπίτι, που ήτα και συνδεμένο με το router του παρόχου και ενα ασύρματα ως AP / Extender. Ολα δουλευαν τέλεια μέχρι που πρόσθεσα και τρίτο τεμάχιο για καλύτερη κάλυψη στην αυλη. Απο τότε ολα σερνονται. Δεν ξέρω γιατί. Ουτε το facebook στο κινητό δεν φορτώνει φυσιολογικά. Εν το μεταξύ τα 2 παλιά τρέχουν έκδοση 1.7.1 Rel. 43437 και το καινούργιο 1.2.2 Rel. 64297. Και αρνείται να κάνει και update στη τελευταία έκδοση. Άντε βγάλε άκρη..
The 1200 mbps is a scam. Once connected by cable to my 500 router it only gives me 100 and of course to the other two units 50 and 30. The company's explanation is that it is old technology and with a cable it only gives that much, but also it is impossible to connect via WiFi which theoretically would give up to 867!!! They suggested I pay another 60 euros to get another, more modern model for the main unit that gives 1000 by cable!! So it's only good if 100 mbps is enough for you
Τα 1200 mgps είναι απάτη. Αφού συνδεθεί με καλώδιο στο 500αρι σουτέρ μου δίνει μόνο 100 και βέβαια στις άλλες δύο μονάδες 50 και 30. . Η εξήγηση της εταιρίας είναι ότι είναι παλιά τεχνολογία και με καλώδιο δίνει μόνο τόσο αλλά και είναι αδύνατον να συνδεθεί με WiFi που θεωρητικά θα έδινε μέχρι 867!!! Πρότειναν να δώσω αλλά 60 ευρώ για να πάρω άλλο μοντέλο πιο σύγχρονο για αρχική μονάδα που δίνει 1000 με καλώδιο!! Άρα είναι καλό μόνο αν σας επαρκούν τα 100mgps
