His feelings have cognitive value, as does the narration of his life, as the truth unfolds and is expressed in narrative time. The book addresses the cognitive value of emotions and storytelling and constitutes a systematic study of the relationship between theology and literature.

The author leverages the interpretive tradition of Christianity, engages with contemporary philosophers and theologians, and poses a series of questions offering interpretive examples from modern literature. What are the epistemological terms and what are the methodological prerequisites of the relationship between literature and theology?
