PLUTARCH: An important figure of Ancient Greece. He was born in 50 A.D. in Chaeronea, Boeotia. He studied rhetoric, mathematics, and physics. He was a philosopher, writer, and educator.

Plutarch had a rich body of work, of which 83 complete pieces and 33 fragments have survived. His works are divided into two sections: the Morals and the Lives.

The Morals cover a wide range of religious, political, and historical topics and serve as an important source of knowledge and information for scholars and researchers, while the Lives are biographies of significant figures from Greece and Rome.

In his philosophy, the dominant issue was the search for truth and God. He died around 120 A.D. in Delphi, where he was the supervisor of the Oracle of Delphi.
