The studies included in this volume are an attempt to approach patristic interpretation concerning topics of the New Testament. Hence the relevant title, "New Testament and Interpreting Fathers".

We focus our attention on the dynamic interpretation of the Fathers as a proposal of the Orthodox tradition that substantially contributes to the understanding of the revealed word of God throughout history, for the salvation of humankind.

Thus, the Church presents the authentic interpreters of the Holy Scriptures and sets the interpretive framework and principles that guide the contemporary interpreter in the search for the truth of the gospel.

This experience sustains humanity and helps one to transcend the problem of decay and death and to participate in the event of the resurrection of Christ.

This book includes eight studies that were first published in honor volumes, yearbooks, and conference proceedings.
