Astérix in Spain is a new adventure where Caesar has subdued Spain to Rome. However, a small village still resists the conqueror. Caesar captures the son of the village chief and sends him as a hostage to the Babaorum camp to receive Roman training. However, the Gauls decide to save him, and Astérix and Obélix take on the task of returning him to his village in Spain. During this long journey, they will be called to fight both against the Romans who want to reclaim the hostage and... against the whims of the little boy!
