The main purpose of publishing this study is, on one hand, to teach those who do not think correctly about the holy memorial services, neglect their importance, and do not follow the rules of our Holy Church (...) breaking the faith in what is absolutely saving.

On the other hand, to support the truths and sacred traditions of the Church, to strengthen the religious beliefs of the faithful (...) and to protect them from any error introduced by newly emerging, false notions, so that with awareness and confidence they may preserve the truths of the Church.
