The Sigma 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports lens is a telephoto zoom lens for cameras with a Leica L mount and a Full Frame sensor. The autofocus system uses a stepping motor and a high-precision magnetic sensor, while optical image stabilization provides approximately four stops of compensation. The zoom ring’s torque control system has lock positions, increased resistance to prevent zoom creep, and smooth movement.

For focus and stabilization control, it features a focus limiter switch, a stabilization mode switch, a custom settings switch, and three customizable AFL buttons.

    + Firmware 1.2 improves the lens on all levels: focus accuracy and speed.

    - Weight
    - With the lens hood, although very well made, I can't say I liked the way it fits in the transport position.

    The total with the Panasonic S1R body I have reaches 3.4 kg. Quite heavy but not prohibitive.
