Description

A misunderstood story of sadistic Wizards and the monsters they create. In a city so dark that it is known only as the Abyss, a faction of Wizards has been abducting people from the streets to use them as test subjects in horrific experiments in dark magic. In a dark alley, Nikaido finds Kaiman, a man with a reptilian head and severe amnesia. To lift the curse, they hunt down and kill the Wizards in the Abyss, hoping to eventually kill the one they need. However, when En, the leader of the Wizards, learns about a reptilian creature slaughtering his people, he sends a team of cleaners into the Abyss, triggering a war between two worlds. Everyone is looking for someone special... Convinced that Risu is the key to his past (and his head), Kaiman heads into the Wizards' dimension alone. While pursuing Risu, he discovers that the Wizards are preparing for the "Blue Night," a festival where Wizards find their companions. Meanwhile, Risu is searching for her former partner Aikawa to see what he might know about the people who had killed her. Shin and Noi are both pursued by Wizards who have long desired them as companions. En relentlessly hunts a Wizard who can manipulate time. And Fujita is looking for... well, any companion who will accept him.

This review is about the add to your collection: Vol. 1

A dark story with intense, harsh images, set in a post-apocalyptic environment. The introduction is somewhat chaotic, lacking clear direction, however, the main conflict between humans and the wizards experimenting on them is later revealed. Nevertheless, the plot is uninteresting, it fails to connect you with the protagonist or create that sense of mystery or suspense.
