Description

"The obvious is often left unsaid." "It's as clear as day." "Does it need asking?" Everything that is easily left out is considered "self-evident." But what are the self-evident truths? Small daily habits that give meaning and repair our relationship with ourselves and with others.

Agreed-upon habits that make our lives easier at all levels, that set boundaries, based on universal values such as love, friendship, dignity, respect, and selflessness, which, due to their indiscriminate constant use, weaken and subsequently threaten individual but even more so social balance and well-being.

Self-evident truths that we forget and do not spare a little of our time to "dust them off," to give them meaning and significance again, to defend them, to rephrase them. Forgotten self-evident truths, like the simple "Good morning," "Thank you," "Please," "I'm sorry," which either are not said at all, or are said and immediately canceled out by our behavior.

The idea was born from dozens of instances of rudeness, lack of common sense, lack of education, social indifference, and opportunism. It was born at home, on the bus, in the market, in our workplace, in our personal lives, in our free time, while having a coffee. It was born because what we take for granted is not necessarily taken for granted by others, as the word is one but its interpretations are countless.

The self-evident should not be overlooked as long as they ensure social well-being and cohesion.
