Sometimes a song can save your life. The love for music unites the four members of the band Given: the impulsive guitarist Uenoyama, the party-loving DJ Akihiko, the quiet bassist Haruki, and Mafuyu, a charismatic singer burdened by a tragic past. Their struggles and conflicts may push them apart, but their bond with music and with each other always brings them back together. Now that Given has an offer to record their debut album, each band member must decide whether to take the professional step seriously. While Ritsuka has no doubts, Mafuyu is not ready to commit. Frustrated by Mafuyu's uncertainty, Ritsuka turns his attention to playing in the band of his former rival Hiragi, but Hiragi faces his own issues with his teammate Shizusumi.
