Special education is currently at a critical crossroads. In an effort to define its identity between the special and inclusive, as an integral part of general education, great interest lies in everything specialized, differentiated, or additional that is offered to the child for long or short periods of time.
Another ultimate goal remains education in as least restrictive an environment as possible. The aim of this book is to highlight and make understandable the parameters concerning the education and behavior of children with special needs through a multifaceted dimension, thereby contributing to their improvement.
The individual articles address topics of theoretical, research, and practical interest regarding the education, co-education, and therapy of children with special needs.
