Description

In a city so dreary it is known only as the Hole, a tribe of Sorcerers has cleared people from the streets to use them as test subjects for horrific experiments in dark arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido finds Kaiman, a man with a reptilian head and a serious problem with amnesia. To lift the curse, they hunt and kill the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually, they will kill the right one. When En, the Sorcerer chief, learns about the reptilian man who is slaughtering his people, he sends a team of cleaners into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.

The Professor has found the home of his estranged wife, but there is no sign of her in this small cottage. Following the Professor, Sin and Noi find themselves in serious trouble with the new occupants of the house: a gang of En's opponents with strong abilities. Meanwhile, political intrigue is brewing among the demons in hell, and Kaiman and Nikaido try to repair their friendship after a wild and nearly fatal duel. Fujita is closing in on his long-awaited revenge against Kaiman, Risu is approaching the leader of the Cross-Eyes, and Ebisu is getting closer to her past in this highly anticipated volume of Dorohedoro!

This review is about the add to your collection: Vol. 1

A dark story with intense, harsh images, set in a post-apocalyptic environment. The introduction is somewhat chaotic, lacking clear direction, however, the main conflict between humans and the wizards experimenting on them is later revealed. Nevertheless, the plot is uninteresting, it fails to connect you with the protagonist or create that sense of mystery or suspense.
