Aesop belongs to those figures who are nourished and pass into eternity by the soul and the word, free and unrestrained, as a defiance against the enslaved destiny of humans concerning their coexistence. He demolishes the castles of convention and fights to liberate the soul and reason of man from the thefts and hypocrisies that tyrannize him. This personality of his emanates from his fables or is validated through the imagination of the peoples, approaching the stature of Prometheus, Socrates, and Christ. Even their lives have the same end! Another common point between Aesop and Christ is this: love and virtue in the Gospels are unfolded and taught through parables, and the same happens with Aesop: all truths and opinions are unfolded through short fables - parables.
