Ignition Ability

DENSO has developed the U-Groove electrode for better spark performance. The key factor for increasing ignition ability is to develop a large flame kernel from the spark. This is typically achieved by increasing the spark gap, which causes an increase in spark voltage.

The IRIDIUM POWER series uses DENSO’s special U-Groove electrode to achieve excellent ignition ability while keeping the spark voltage low.

Improved Horsepower Capability

Achieve more horsepower with an optimal combustion cycle. The IRIDIUM POWER series has a low required voltage and high ignition ability, which results in fewer misfires and no-spark conditions, leading to dramatic improvement in combustion.
