  • Was it easy to read?
  • I liked the writing style
  • I would read a book by the same author
  • I would recommend it for reading
  • Was it interesting enough?
  • Paper quality
  • I really liked the way the main characters and the houses of Westeros are presented. The beginning is a bit slow, but the twists keep the interest alive.

  • It is my favorite book series. It is full of suspense and you can't stop reading, especially as you move on to the next books in the series. The quality of the paper is a bit mediocre. Additionally, the series is for ages 18+, because it contains many... strange scenes.

My review concerns the edition of the book which is terrible and NOT the story of the book, which is worth it.
The paper is cheap, like that of newspaper books.

It may be because I have seen the series, but I feel that the book "drags on". I mean, the descriptions are good and there are some elements that differ from the series (although not much), but in 10 pages there can be 20 seconds of action and in the next 10 pages, 20 days of action.. And overall, this alternation of landscapes and "stories" is somewhat tiring.. I believe that someone who likes lotr will really enjoy it, but someone who prefers eragon will find it full of unnecessary things..

I recommend to everyone who hasn't read the series to do it yet. As a critic says, it is only compared to Lord of the Rings, but in my honest opinion, it is even better. Unlike other books of its kind, it is not "written" around the war scenes, but it describes the culture and religion of those people, as well as the intrigue and conspiracies of the court, as well as the lives of ordinary people.
