Mapei Mapesil AC sealant is a single-component, acetoxy-cure silicone for sealing glass, ceramic tiles and anodized aluminum. It has an elastic, thixotropic paste consistency and can be applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces. With Primer FD adhesion promoter, it can also be applied to concrete, wood, metal, painted surfaces, plastic and rubber.

It is used in expansion joints with permitted movement of up to 25% and for flexible seals between building components. Apply with a caulking gun at temperatures from 5 °C to 50 °C. The EMICODE EC1 Plus classification indicates very low emissions.
