Description

Crisis, every kind of crisis, is an opportunity. An opportunity and a challenge for reflection. Personal reflection, collective reflection, self-criticism, revisions. Crises sow fear, panic, and bring to the surface the most primal instincts of self-preservation. In modern societies, unrestrained individualism is revealed, the hegemony of the individual. An existence that places itself above any collectivity and does not intersect, meaning it leaves no room for intersection, inclusion, and concession to the other, the fellow human being, who has been deprived in every way of this blessedness. This blessedness, which does not refer to the addition of individuals but to the coexistence of persons. Persons that are existentially and morally constituted in a community of interpersonal, morally sealed, relationships and not in an impersonal society of individual interests.
